Looked around for a while and couldn’t get a straight answer. Not sure if I had a CP4 recall or not. Bought this rig with 28k on it. 2020 HO W/ Aisin. In the process of deleting and when installing raceme ultra, I’m getting “software unknown ECM”. Probably an easy fix. Just hoping someone else has had this issue resolved. Is it the “recovery request” I’m needing. You’d think you wouldn’t have to dish out the additional $200 after spending $1300. Frustrating

Easy to tell if you had the recall done just look at the HPFP…. As for the Raceme do you have the bypass cable installed?

Bypass cable is installed. I’ll check the fuel pump when I get home.

Turns out I've had the injection pump recall done. They are sending me a recovery file via email. We'll see how this goes.

Yes! Recovery file worked. Follow the steps closely. Make sure you save all your tunes to a computer in case you drop the wrong files. I went out bought a cheap laptop just for this reason. Also in case I need to upload different custom tunes. They won’t charge you for recovery file if you’ve already purchased race me.

They added an extra CRC to the PCM code so many of the tuners needed to update their base files.

That little fact caused an initial rumor that the PCM had been locked like the 22+ PCM, but it was fake news.
