I have a set of low mile power wagon tires and wheels (2020) and a friends son wants to put them on his 2019 tradesman 2500. Any issues with this? The tires are d rated but have a load rating of 3120lbs so well over gvwr.

Will work just fine, had a set on my tradesman. The rear axle on a 2500 is rated for a max of 6,390 lbs. Any load range D or E tire with at minimum a 121 load index (3,195 lbs) will suffice.

To get max load capacity the D range tire will need to be at max inflation (assuming it’s 65psi). While a load range E will probably go up to 80 psi, it reaches the 3,195 lbs capacity at the same 65psi……….
