Hi guys. I want to install a compressor. Was thinking an ARB. What do you guys recommend? Where do you recommend to mount it? Thx for your help in advance. I have a 3500 HO Diesel Mega Cab. Limited.

I have a ViAir 400C mounted under my bed, to the bed on the drivers side forward of the tire, and a chuck in the bed near the drivers aft cleat. The 400C has been a great pump for flats, airing up after driving back roads, etc.

Can you post some pics of the installed compressor and chuck? Thanks

Double Viar with tank on passenger frame rail with custom mounts. Lost a little bit of depth on storage bin in floor.Single pod display in cab for air bags and tank pressure. Used most of the riv-nut holes on that rail to avoid drilling frame.8C3FA5B0-76E9-418E-9644-A669AEF6EA78.jpegBB2FD3ED-9841-4EB7-B35A-D6CA5BEC7A6E.jpeg012B1717-1962-4997-9D4C-8349527964F1.jpeg

I had a dual ARB compressor I took out of my Jeep in favor of a mini York engine driven compressor. So I decided I wanted to mount the ARB in my truck. Found a mount from 813 Fabrication that was designed for a Jeep Gladiator that I slightly modified to work for my situation. I wanted to mount it in the bed to keep it covered from the elements under my bed cover. Also needed to clear when our camper was loaded. I had to bend the mounting tabs, 3d print spacers and cut a hole in the top for it to work the way I needed. I do have a tank I will install at some point. I put a chuck under the bumper so I could still get air if camper was on. Has come in handy having air available. For wiring, I got a 17' harness extension from Expedition Essentials and ran it to the engine compartment. It is for a Toyota Tacoma, but worked great for me. I wired it to one of the Aux switches on the dash for activation and the pump wires to the driver side battery.
