I’m new here but not to Rams. I bought my first Dodge Ram new in 1985, a W350 that I loved but had to sell since I needed an extended cab for the baby. (It was underpowered but I still regret selling it, it was a beautiful truck.) The next Ram I bought was a 2009 Ram 3500 6.7L CCSB 4x4 and I really liked it (& probably should have kept it, it got the best mpg of any truck I’ve ever driven). I traded it for a 2012 Ram 3500 6.7L CCSB 4x4 and traded that for a 2018 Ram 3500 6.7L 4x4 that I plan to keep as long as I live. I really like the 6.7L Cummins diesel for towing my travel trailer over the Rockies to visit family in Texas.

I’m retired now, Army Veteran (3 years) & LEO (39 years). My Ram is only a SLT but I sure enjoy driving it. I’m happy to be here and appreciate the knowledge imparted here...

Only have pics of my ‘12 & ‘18, I haven’t towed with the ‘18 yet.

I transferred to the dry side 34 years ago & I seldom make it to the west side these days. I kinda got the feeling at the Battle of Seattle I wasn’t welcome...

Thanks. I haven’t towed with my ‘18 yet but when I towed with our ‘12 it would have been easy to forget our trailer was even back there. Easily towed across Wyoming at 80 mph (on the Interstates). I had Titan replacement fuel tanks installed on them (56 gal. on the ‘12, 52 gal. on the ‘18).

Congrats and welcome aboard!

Thank you. My family arrived in Texas in 1845. Most of my family are still spread across the Republic of Texas. I moved here after a hitch in the Army to be nearer to my Dad, who moved here while I was overseas.
