5th Gen RAM MOPAR Powered Runner Board issues - Anyone seen before?

Anyone seen this issue? I have a 2020 2500 and the passenger side runner board either won't extend or partial extends and then retreats about 30% of the time. I mostly see it when the truck has been sitting for several hours.

I know this an old thread but I had the same issue on my wife's Ford SUV with the factory power running boards. Symptoms were identical to yours. I got under there (finally) and sprayed every joint with PB blaster. I sprayed the $hit out of all the joints and worked the running boards back and forth by opening and closing the door and helping it up with my foot and it freed up immediately.
