First Gen iPod Nano

I just came across my old iPod Nano. Plugged it in and it worked for a couple of songs but now the screen tells me it's an Unsupported Device. I tried another cord and same thing, worked for a couple of song then the screen came up with Unsupported Device. Not that I have to have the Nano working but I was wondering if anyone else has been able to get any generation of Nano to work with the 12" Uconnect?

I had one in my jeep - was nice to not have to use my phone. It stopped working in 2019 when I got my 1500. Not sure I even have it anymore to test on my 3500. Streaming and unlimited data is the way now. I do miss it though...
