Cruise control quit working-Service Electronic Stability Control display on

I have about 5000 miles on my 2022 Ram 5500 with the cummins. Driving yesterday out of the blue, the cruise control quit working. On the dash, the squiggly icon similar to the traction control light was on, and the main display said Service Electronic Stability Control. Drove this way for about 1 hour and cruise would not work. I pulled over after an hour and cycled through starts, putting in 4 wheel drive, hitting the traction control button for 8 seconds, etc, and nothing worked. I continued on my trip and about 1.5 hours later, the light magically went off and cruise control worked again. Any suggestions on what it is? There is no light on the dash anymore, and I read that it doesn't log a trouble code, so not sure what the dealer will check.
