CAUGHT: 2023 Ram 2500 Limited Night Edition Mega Cab 4×4:

Some New Updates Are Coming For The 4.5 Gen Heavy Duty...

1654122521355.png

In January, we showed you the first spy photos of the minor updates coming to the 2023 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty lineup. This included a new Rebel package for the Ram 2500, a revised hood design, and a set of new exterior mirrors. Since then, there hasn’t been a lot of new news for Heavy Duty with the exception of a leaked image of a new digital gauge cluster due to debut on 2023 Ram 1500 and Heavy Duty models.

Looking forward to those mirrors being available. The mounting looks the same as the current mirrors. I want them asap!

Yeah, looks like it might be an easy mechanical swap. Hopefully they kept the electrical side of it close enough that it will work with the current models?

Do we know when these details will be released? or when the orders can start?

Also very excited for the mirrors, they look nice.

Any ideas when 2023 parts (mirrors) will be available?

Heck, they can barely get parts to build production trucks. I'd bet it's going to be a (long) while before we see anything available to consumers.

In normal times, when would parts be available for the next MY truck? Same time production starts, a month later, months later?

If you're looking to retrofit, Jimmy has posted that it's going to take some serious smoke and mirrors to make them work (electrically) with older BCM.
Yup, that was my plan. Love my ‘22 but cannot stand the mirrors.

Hopefully somone in the aftermarket sorts out an easier solution.

There is one company that you can retro your mirrors to get the Chevy or the Ford mirrors. It was over $2K to do it. So i passed it up. But the dodge mirrors are terrible

My wife thinks I only have 3 guns

Was it Boostautoparts? Their kit doesnt incorporate the 360 camera, so I couldnt try them. They were $1100 if I recall

I guess it's just me, I like the 2019-22 Ram mirrors. I have no issues with visibility and the "moose" antlers mode doesn't look bad at all, and I could give a **** about the ghost trailer jokes. Maybe it's decades of driving a jeep and those mirrors and limited visibility.
