Went to hook up the toyhauler with new MY24 Ram and when the trailer is close or hitched the proximity buzzer goes nuts! How do I turn the buzzer off when towing?

Thanks.

Are you saying the back up alert doesn't automatically disable when you connect the camper umbilical?
When connected, do the camper lights and brakes function?

Series of buttons below the radio in mine. Press the rear one to disable it.

Even enabled it shouldnt go off if normally towing. My hitch though sticks out enough that hooked up or not it will trip the sensor into thinking something is there when I shift into reverse.

A toy hauler without brakes would be pretty rare.
If he did not hook up the 7 pin it would make sense he never said if he was towing it on the street or not. Or the brakes are not working which is also not uncommon with most factory electric brake wiring
