Looking to go more aggressive and possibly bigger tires. What’s the biggest size I can run without lift or spacers for the duals?

I have seen a few duallys running 35" ATs on OEM 17"s. I have not done it, but your local tire shop should be able to guide you.

Just in case your still looking 285/75/17 toyo AT3 on factory Alcoa wheels. Needs a spacer between the two rear wheels. This isn’t a heavy rated tire even being a 10ply it’s only 3197#. After having for a month I think I’ll keep them as a winter tire for light loads and move to a 20” and a 295/65/20 or something like that that has a 4080# rating for summer when I’m towing 26k and up.

My understanding is 255/80/17 is as big as you can go without a rear spacer on stock wheels. I just ordered a set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers and will post a pic when they are installed.

You are correct on that, my 285’s have about 1/4” clearance with 80 lbs in them. I did that to drive till my spacer showed up.

Looks great! Yea, I don’t wanna go the spacer route. So you gonna run without them now you know they clear?

No, I would really like to get the air pressure down to help the ride in the rear. I have the factory air ride and with the heavy duty overload that the air ride rear has on it, when you hit a decent sized bump it really kicks the back end up. I like the current location of the outside rear wheel, I might look into having a custom inside wheel made with more clearance if I can go that way. Not sure on that one yet. I may also modify the overload to get ride of some of the buck that it has.

That's exactly the set I want to order, do you have any pics? Thanks!
