best obd scanner / code reader

I have asked the same question but also got no reply. I ended up buying the Autel Pro. Not recommended for the normal guy because of the price tag. Also all Stilantis products can be scanned by most of the scanners like Snapon etc but you can not clear the fault codes unless you are registered with a company called Auto Authority this is a extra layer of security/authorisation Stillantis put on their products. I registered my scan tool and its not expensive it was something like $60US for a year.
What are your needs?
If you have a phone just get JScan and an OBD reader like the vLinker Vgate MC+.
With the reader you can also use other apps like Torque, AlfaOBD, etc.

I want to be able to do everything, scan faults, clear faults, reset control units, reset adaptions on gearbox engine, change vehicle configuration, reprogram any control unit including security fault code explanation.
