Update on my recall. The dipstick they replace for your old one is about 15 inches long. It says right on it "not for checking fluid level". It has a locking feature on it. I did get to keep my old dipstick but when I tried to check my fluid this morning, 1/20, it shows fluid level low. 9400...

I just had the recall ZA3 (transmission tube) done 1/18/2023 on my 2022 Ram 2500. Dealer told me with the replacement tube, you CAN NOT check the transmission fluid yourself? WTF ? Service man said the tube is shorter and does not have a dipstick. Was told I would have to return to dealer when...
