I just replaced mine. This is the one that fit my truck https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DNJVJQ8H?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. Hopefully it lasts.
You'll have no problems at all. I pull a similar sized camper with my '19 2500 6.4 and 4.10s and it pulls it great. My only wish is that the fuel tank was bigger LOL.
There's a section of I40 around Salisbury NC that is the same way. The waves in the concrete are completely unnoticeable it every other vehicle I drive except my truck.
Thanks for keeping us updated. The 50 gal option sounds like it will be more than $3200 unless the sending unit is included with the upcharge. Either way that's gonna be too steep for me too unfortunately...
The new setup looks good. I have the same tire but on factory 20s and they are quieter than the stock Transforce. Could it be the shorter sidewall contributing to the extra noise?
I first noticed the talking echo issue about a month after buying the truck in 2020. All the fourms at the time said it was normal function of a new feature. I was learning to live with it after the trip to the dealership accomplished nothing. I got the ANC bypass after upgrading the factory...
I had this issue with my '19. It was an overactive ANC. It shows up more for people with deep voices. Dealer never found an issue when I brought it in. I ended up getting an ANC bypass online and for $20 solved it myself. About 6 months later they issued a TSB to update the ANC software...
In my case the 2nd dealership was about $100 cheaper than my local DT. Plus, I had horrible experience with that DT servicing the tires on my previous truck when I moved to the area. I get it that most have terrible dealership service experiences, I'm just lucky to have a good one near me.
I took advantage of this promo in the fall after picking up multiple nails in 2 tires. Definitely shop multiple dealerships if you can and call them directly. First I got a quote from the dealer next to work and it was ok but a little higher than I expected OTD considering one tire should have...
I've had my Softopper since 2013. I bought it for my '12 and still run it today on my '19 when needed. I love the flexibility and that it takes up almost no space in the garage when I don't want it on the truck. I find the seams need to be treated with silicone waterproofing every couple...
When driving through the mountains I leave T/H on the whole time but when headed to the coast I typically turn it off and only use T/H when going through the smaller towns with traffic lights in the highway.
