I don't feel I lost any lateral throw. They are much brighter, and I notice them a lot more than I did with the factory LED fogs during turns. I will say though, that I don't really care for the feature in general, and I would turn it off if I could. So it wasn't really something I was paying attention to in terms of differences.

I wouldn't hesitate to do the switch again.

Appreciate the feedback. I am going to try and turn off that feature. I think there is a setting in AlfaOBD that I can try.

Jimmy said there is a setting to reduce the degree of turn setting in Alfa, but last I read a couple weeks ago was that no one had confirmed. I'll check the thread again now.
