As I am maintaining my truck as "never winter driven" I am in no hurry to have this software work done.
Have any of you received this recall, had the work done and what if any performance differences have you experienced?
Presently I love the way this big Ram runs ( only 60,000 KMS ) 2013...
Endorsing RV Goose's comment about making sure the truck is up to the task and more is better. Also think about a diesel for economy. I have a long box so this time so I didn't have to be concerned with cab clearance and still have lots of room for equipment in the bed.
I didn't have quite the issue you have, although I did have a check engine light on my 5.9. The dealer found a loose wire and after I paid the bill gave me the advise to check battery hook ups on diesels frequently due to vibration. Also those terminals needed some "McGiver" work to maintain...
I didn't realize this forum was new. I don't qualify as a 4.5 gen as I have a 2013, BUT I wanted a site that discusses the HD issues and not half ton stuff.
Am I in the right garage?
