So the Mrs is looking to get rid of her 2018 Durango SXT while it still has good value. The vehicle has done very well as far as function goes, has been reliable and looks good. Hers is Granite in color with the Blacktop package and she is looking at the exact color combo in a GT trim which has a bunch of goodies inside.

They also have the new 3rd row Jeep there in various colors. I kinda like the Jeep. Maybe if the Durango was a different color than she has I may be into it. It's seems kind of blah, especially for the money.

Thoughts? Need 3 rows. Aside from that....it's options and colors. Oh and no Ford or GM products lol.

Nobody? I'm gonna sell her on the Jeep. It is a much nicer vehicle than the Durango. So now.....do we go for it right away with no incentive and good trade in value or rack up more miles on the current and get hit there possibly acquiring an incentive or two?

Between those two I would look at the Jeep. The Cherokee L wasn't out earlier this year when we were looking. We drove a Durango RT, Explorer ST, All the Gm junk (traverse, acadia Tahoe) We wound up going with a Kia Telluride which we are very happy with so far.

I think your asking this in the wrong forum
It's off topic. Yes this is HDRam however most of us have significant others that drive something other than our fuel suckers and being car/truck people I put value in the opinions of like minded individuals.

The Kia's are nice. They seem to be a good value. We will check those out. Thanks for the input.

I loved my GC TrailHawk Hemi, if I didn't need the truck bed I'd still have it.

Just throwing out another option but I love our 4Runner. Slightly smaller than the Jeep or Durango but probably just as reliable if not more.

Thanks. 3rd row?

This is a requirement with 4 kids (3 teens and one soon to be double digit young lady).

We bought ours with only 2 rows but i saw tons on the lot with the 3rd row. No kids here so we opted for more cargo space.

I was having the same debate when we were looking for a vehicle to replace our 2016 Durango… we ended up with a Kia Sedona. Good luck though! (Hope you pick the Durango).

Grand Cherokee is only 2 rows. That's what my wife wanted when we bought her Durango in 2016, but we needed the 3 rows. I have looked into replacing hers now with the high prices, I had been also looking into the Kia Telluride, Hyundai Palisade, and VW Atlas.

I should specify...the new Grand Cherokee Limited L has 3 rows. They are nice and she liked the black one she drove last night but being so new there is no wiggle room. I was able to get supplier pricing discount but that is all. We will continue the hunt. She now wants to drive a Telluride. May end up back at the Durango for the value factor. Who knows. No rush.

I remember reading something about Grand Cherokee L's awhile back before they had released, I was thinking it was part of the new Wagoneer line. Looks pretty nice, more "luxury" styling where the Durango is more "sport" styling. I better not show my wife...

Finally an end to this one.....

She drove all the 6 passenger, we will call them "mid size" SUVs and ended up in a 2022 Explorer ST Line. For those that don't know it has the looks and interior of the ST model without the gas guzzler. Very nice ride and plenty of power in the 2.3L for her commute. Yes, another white vehicle.

@whitexc I only mentioned wrong forum for I did not think many would respond. Ironically I was in the same boat, and had actually ordered an Overland as well as a Durango Tow n Go. I wound up taking delivery of the Overland. It was a sweet car for 72 hours, then it turned into a brick.. Nothing but the Alarm would work, no key fob, no remote access, nothing. Open the door with the key and the Alarm would blare but the car was dead. Dealership took it diagnose and that same day Chrysler/Stellantis placed a do not sell on any Jeep GCL delivered in the month of Feb. I asked my buddy at the dealership for the Durango, took it out for a ride with the wife, awesome car with plenty of goodies but the drone inside the car from the performance exhaust was too much for the wife with her hearing issues. Now what, I asked for my '21 2500 back which he did very willingly. Traded it up for a '22 MDX Advanced. @H3LZSN1P3R sorry but not all good things come from Chrysler/Stellantis these days....

This. It's hers. It is new and has a warranty. She is a 4 year owner and will determine after that if it was goodnuff as a vehicle.
