2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Do they have the Uconnect 5 for 12in screen yet?
According to the build sheets, yes.

I
Is there a place where new members who are dealers can go to get an understanding of the rules?

I cant imagine anyone in this thread is "complaining" for dealers competing for their business? I understand the rules should be followed, but the consumer wins when dealers compete.
the only ones complaining are MSRP dealers

Yes! My laramie went up $200 as well, like a week or so ago
In February 2019 when I ordered my 2019 Ram 3500 SRW HO.....the 12" screen radio was $1295...from the time I speced the truck out until the time I ordered it (about 48hrs) it went up to $1995. I told the dealer no, give me the 8.4" screen and saved $1295. I thought that the $1295 was too much....when it jumped to $1995....I thought it was ridiculous.

Well, they can make up to 210 trucks a day,if the parts hold out.
Awesome, and I am only 210,000 deep in that line. So about 100 days after the production starts, and assuming parts are available (sunroof?), and shipping to the New England area is approximately 2 months as I was told, I honestly should be seeing February or March. Sweet! I'll keep this 2021 to get salt all over it, and get the 22 (dream truck) and tuck it straight into the garage until the salt is gone.

I just dropped my 2004 Grand Prix off for exhaust, front loaded struts, some unibody patch work (rust holes) and state inspection, and I agreed to purchase a 2008 Honda Accord with 120K on it as a back up to my Grand PeePee winter beater. My trucks have to remain "unsalted"!

That doesnt mean you will have to wait for 209.999 trucks to be built, lots of variables,options,model,engine,trim....

Yes, but I'm a Limited Longhorn, likely far less of them....

I'm every tech option, likely still tight on PC board components.....

I'm sunroof.... we all know that sunroof throws a warning when ordering that parts are unavailable and may cause an order hold.....

I'm thinking that I've got plenty plenty time before I'll see my baby.

According to statistics I found online, Ram sold 563,676 trucks in 2020. I can't say sales correlate perfectly with number of trucks built, but it should be close. Assuming they work 300 days a year, that is 1,879 trucks a day.

210 x 365 days in a year only equals 76,650 trucks per year. The math doesn't seem to add up.

That’s total Rams sold- HDs, 1500 5th gen, and 1500 classic combined. Only HDs and 1500 classic regular cabs are built at the Saltillo plant.
