2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Someone said it’s more of a “logistics are quicker”. Meaning, Ram isn’t going to load 2-3 trucks on a train or truck. They’re going to wait until they have a full load before delivering that shipment. Mark Dodge (and other high-volume dealers) will have more trucks heading in, so they won’t have to wait as long to fill a shipment.
Also, Mark Dodge is less than 700 miles from the Saltillo. My Ram was delivered in a matter of days to the dealership, not weeks.

Just throwing my experience into this thread. I am hoping to get a 3500 limited DRW night edition ordered soon. I am in New Mexico, havent bothered with my local places yet but may shop my quotes to them before I pull the trigger.
I sent my build requests to Gary@Bud Clary, Aaron/Sandi from Mark Dodge and Andrea from Chapman in AZ. Gary has had eight days and I have yet to get a reply...I did follow up with another email last night just to give them a second chance at providing a quote. Aaron/Sandi got back to me within 2 hours with their quote and then followed up in response to a few of my emails very quickly thereafter-super impressed with them. Andrea@ chapman has been responsive and has a pretty competitive quote compared to Sandi, not quite as good but AZ is also a lot closer to home than Mark dodge in Louisianan.

Not sure what to make of Bud Clary not replying.

Is there a place where new members who are dealers can go to get an understanding of the rules?

I cant imagine anyone in this thread is "complaining" for dealers competing for their business? I understand the rules should be followed, but the consumer wins when dealers compete.
The rules, links to the rules, and my stand on this issue have been posted numerous times, are included in the first post in this thread, and when a new dealer shows up, they are contacted. When dealers ignore contact and/or don't abide by the rules they are afforded the same treatment as any other member.

I suggest you go back and re-read the very first post in this thread to understand what I'm asking and why.

I did notice that the email showing on his contact page has an extra (.) In it. I emailed him first by using the link.
Just in case, his email is [email protected]. on the bud clary website it shows as bud.clary. I hope thats all it was?

I had a TRX that I really just didn't care for. I understand I'm the minority here... But the truck already had about 15k miles on it and understanding the market on a specialty truck, I felt it best to unload it sooner versus later. I really liked my 19 2500 limited mega cab, so the dealer agreed to take my TRX on trade now towards a new 22 2500 Limited Mega Cab. They told me to expect 3-4 months before delivery. However, going through the 21 and 22 posts. I'm beginning to question if that is even possible. I placed my order one month ago, and it's still D status(of course as 22's haven't started yet). What do you all think is the best/worse case timeframe on getting this truck? Not having a truck has proven to be more annoying than I counted on. lol

Thanks for the reply. The email I used was [email protected].
I shot a build to that email a couple weeks ago and got a response from a sales manager named Freddy. He told me Gary works in finance and that Freddy would be the one helping me with the order. Not sure if that is the same as everyones else experience but wanted to share.

As far as pricing goes it was invoice minus holdbacks, so slightly higher than what I was quoted from Aaron and Sandi. I live on the west coast and sent an email to Andrea and she quoted me about 10% off MSRP. So within range of what Mark Dodge is doing and might make sense for those that live on the west coast.

Really it all depends on your options you pick. If you get a sunroof, rumor is that there is a delay on those. Some of the early orders might be okay. Until production starts up 8/9, we don’t really have any idea how long it’s going to take or what order they’re going to pulling builds in :/

Why does the 6.4 in the GW come with 471hp and 455ftlbs,maybe our 22 HD's will too?

While I am waiting for an answer from the PD engineer I did a little research on a local dealers incoming orders,5 Cummins trucks, all built on the same day,July 7th with different trims,3 Power Wagons, all built on July 8th starting at hour 1,midnight changeover.
I would say this is partly due to the "very end" of the production year for the 2021's ....so the batches/buckets are smaller. Ask them how many Ram HD's are built in a day (24 hours) during a normal production day...not end of year? I'm guessing a few thousand.

Was it by truck only or Rail and truck? Just curious if you know...thanks

I pretty much ordered everything except a sunroof. Lose too much headroom.

I know order pulling is always a mystery. Curious if there is general average. I’m dying here

I've been working with my dealer's GM for a week on a loaded '22 3500 Limited LB CC DRW and ended up with a POC priced 1% under Invoice (Affiliate Pricing). I told him go ahead and order today.
He called back to say that since our last POC, the Limited Base Price had gone up $200 to $67,770 and the FCA -generated Option 57E (Delete 20" Wheels) $500 Credit when you choose DRW had also disappeared. He didn't want to place the order without contacting his FCA rep before he "pressed the button".

1) Should I believe him?
2) Can anyone confirm a base price increase on any model in last few days?
Yes! My laramie went up $200 as well, like a week or so ago

That would make all sense in the world thank

Has anyone's '22 order progressed beyond "D" status?
At the very earliest, the very first ordered 2022 will advance August 9. And that's assuming that they don't bump that date again.

I'm expecting delivery of my Limited Longhorn dually order by end of February 2022. To satisfy my desires, a few weeks ago I grabbed a new 2021 Laramie dually so I can play with it until my real love comes in
