2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

Anthony Chilson.
I ordered a "Limited out" Laramie and he discussed in detail options that another "local to me" dealer just didn't know or advise about, like payload with coil overs vs leaf springs. I was ordering a 2500 through them and then I called Anthony and he advised Ram ONLY installs leaf spings on 3500's since like 2005 and I DON'T want coil overs even knowing I many never pull anything over 12,000lbs. He also informed me that the bed liner from the factory is crap so they also do their own in-house bed liner as well as tint the driver and passenger windows.

Oh wow, ok no Blind Spot Indicator for me then lol. Thanks
Just spoke to my dealer and there was a miscommunication. Originally I thought (and posted) that blind spot will delay your build until the end of the year at least - not true. If the blind spot is on your order, then you should get it, normal time frame (whatever that means). So blind spot remains on my order and I'm still in D status.

Not sure about the factory liner being crap

I call BS on "the bed liner from the factory is crap". I've had two, 2015 & 2018, both were every bit as good as the Linex liners I've had on other trucks.

I’ve have two ram factory liner flake up. I always order without and go with linex now. Much better product
After numerous snowmobiles with carbide and studs as well as several pieces of lawn and garden equipment,no issues

That's awesome,D status will be around a few more weeks though

There is also Dave Smith in Kellogg ID. My salesman has been fantastic.
Wait wait wait - I tried those folks and they were not very far below MSRP. Mind sharing a ball-park below MSRP for your deal? Maybe they are changing it up. I had also checked out Dennis Dillon but again, barely at invoice now

Ok, folks. Need some help. This is my first Ram order. The dealer is telling me I can choose the price somewhere between MSRP and Invoice based on what profit I feel the dealer should make. The invoice is about 7% below msrp. If I’m not mistaken at invoice they already have about 3% in profit. Is this true? What are you folks seeing as pricing. I ordered a loaded Laramie just as an FYI. Thanks for any help.

Lol. You have some reading to do on this forum.

Cliffnotes-- shoot for 11-13% under MSRP or 5-7% under invoice.

I've been working with my dealer's GM for a week on a loaded '22 3500 Limited LB CC DRW and ended up with a POC priced 1% under Invoice (Affiliate Pricing). I told him go ahead and order today.
He called back to say that since our last POC, the Limited Base Price had gone up $200 to $67,770 and the FCA -generated Option 57E (Delete 20" Wheels) $500 Credit when you choose DRW had also disappeared. He didn't want to place the order without contacting his FCA rep before he "pressed the button".

1) Should I believe him?
2) Can anyone confirm a base price increase on any model in last few days?

Sandi told me they were getting ready to raise MSRP again (she sent me the 2022 updated price a couple days ago). So for the $200, yeah, I would believe that.
