2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

They must have kept the plant open a couple extra couple of weeks for builds they had parts for
Would help explain the 2 week push back for the 2022 start.

Was fixing to buy a new fifth wheel from Wisconsin and have delivered to SoCal but a local dealer just came in last minute with a hot price on ordering me the exact one. So now it’s probably gonna be a race on what gets built first.

Hello Boys and (a few of us) Gals! I'm baaaaack in a big way! Okay, here we go. If you have not ordered your '22 yet and live somewhere in the western half of the US, I would love to give you a competitive quote. Feel free to grab a quote if you are from anywhere in the continental US (but shipping or flying in may not make sense, as I'm in AZ). I can happily say we are VERY COMPETITIVE. :-) My goal is to reach 100 units. In addition, my strongest area is finance, so if you own a biz and need some info on best way to get or plan for business growth, such an guarantor only, no guarantor, automotive lines of credit, etc., I can answer your questions (even if you've ordered and/or financed elsewhere).

I've figured out a fix for a couple of issues which were making it difficult to keep track of emails and alerts from many of you. It was originally only on my phone and spam kept hiding them. Also, I've learned the hard way to keep your HDRams member Name in my newest replies once I start sending info from my dealership. I couldn't figure out, without doing this, who was who when I would compare emails going back and forth from my work, to my HDRams emails on my phone. You'll notice, when I reply, I'm adding your member name, as well as your first name and last initial to the subject line in work emails.

I look forward to helping each and every one of you. Thank you so much for your patience while I figured out how to best help you. And, even if you don't use me, I will always try to answer or research any questions that may not be answered by others on the forum. Although I have to admit, I often learn so much more here and can't thank you enough. Have a great day!

I’m super excited to add myself as a customer of Sandi’s! An all around great experience and I’m stoked to be coming back into a HD pickup again. My last one was a 2010 2500 ram that I sold in 2013. Man these trucks have come a long way, both in technology and price…

Sorry what I meant was he was before me in build order. He’s numerically “lower” despite his order being placed after, which means he’s in a “higher” order/priority/whatever. I think you’re right by saying higher, but really, my main point/idea was that I think the trim’s may be “bucketed” somehow, which impacts this overall order.

This kinda goes along w/something else mx said earlier in this thread, which is that they generally tend to build bh’s/tradesmans first, then limited/limited Longhorns, then the rest. Who really knows though, so I’m mostly just interpreting tea leaves on build order since I can’t do anything else but wait :)

I've posted on this many times. The trims are "batched," or as also described "bucket," per my dealer contact and I've seen nothing to date to convince me otherwise.

Yep. Sounds like they make a bucket or block/series of VINs for each trim. Let's call it 500 (it's not, but just got numbers sake) in a batch. VIN NG112000 might be the first overall '22 on order, but because of the trim it gets put is late series bucket (first VIN in the bucket), whereas a truck ordered last week might get NG100430 because it is the 'first bucket's trim' even though it's 430 orders deep into the bucket. It would still get built before the one ordered 2 months ago. So VINs are assigned by order date, but only as far as the bucket they're in. How quickly your order arrives has more to do with what trim and options you ordered and when they're sequenced than it does what date you ordered.

I caveat this statement by saying I'm just another dude excited to buy another new Ram, not connected to the industry in any way so my credibility is pretty weak.

My Vin is NG116884, ordered on 6/24.

Put me down for another one ordered from Sandi at Mark Dodge! Super easy experience. I think we had it built out in 4 total emails. This will be my first Ram but I am liking what they have to offer so far!

Placed my order on 7/16. She still said 14-16 weeks after factory opens

Hope you are right,NG100127

Why can’t a dealer from the tri state area come on here and hook me up. Arizona is a hike. And I hate a hike.
