I'm questioning that choice as well. Haha. When I was looking at a chassis cab, fleet guy joked an told me to order it in Hydro Blue, Unicorn, maybe, but not a unicorn I would want. Personally not a fan of the mountain brown interior and as for that that combo, well...nah. If there was a nice dark brown, chocolate or buckskin offered, I'd do that. While spec'n out different chassis cabs, I noticed they have much nicer interior options and there are some nicer two-tone color combos available. At least on the Big Horn. Wish they would offer those on the the traditional trucks.Has anyone seen a hydro blue 2500 laramie with the mountain brown and frost beige interior? The dealer is questioning my choice. I'm not a fan of black interior. Not sure how it will look. Thanks.

Is the off-road kit an option on 3500s? I didn’t see it…I have a 2017 Mega Limited, I only pull a 27’ Airstream 4 or 5 times a year but like the fact that I can get a little more power under the hood without using a programmer like I had in my 06’. I’m in Tennessee, I guess I’ll visit a dealer and see where they start….I currently have rear air suspension but I think I’m going to get the off-road kit on the new truck, the RAS has really been to no advantage to me and takes away the ease of a lift kit if I decide to add one. I have read the off-road kit actually adds 1” of lift over stock.
I’ll have to say my current truck has been in for quite a few problems. My rear camera and harness has been replace 4 times and is currently giving me fits again. With the new system and 5 (?) cameras I’m a little scared.
It's not available on my 22 3500 dually Longhorn. Bummer.Is the off-road kit an option on 3500s? I didn’t see it…
Not avail on any 3500 SRW or DRW.Is the off-road kit an option on 3500s? I didn’t see it…
Just looked at the schedule, job #1 is 8/9/21,revised 7/9/21What source? Fleet ordering sites still showing 7/26 at this point: https://www.donlen.com/manufacturer...-trucks-build-out-final-order-start-up-dates/
So you're saying that the production date shifted to the right...with the start date of 9 August 2021?Just looked at the schedule, job #1 is 8/9/21,revised 7/9/21
Well, thats unfortunate.Just looked at the schedule,job #1 is 8/9/21,revised 7/9/21
You should have told us it was like 9/9/21 that way when we find out its actually 8/9/21 we get to be surprised in a good way for once. lolJust looked at the schedule, job #1 is 8/9/21,revised 7/9/21

FYI, I was informed this morning by my escalated case manager that my 2021 should be built the week of 7/26. They have been "gathering parts" since the first of May.Just looked at the schedule, job #1 is 8/9/21,revised 7/9/21
Smart on your part to switch model years... especially for resale. The 14-16 week time frame might be accurate, once they have the factory open and they actually have all the parts and pieces (which I am skeptical of) in hand. I ordered my 22 the first day they accepted orders. I am cautiously optimistic for a november / december delivery.... I just hope that it doesnt turn into the new Bronco debacle. I finally cancelled my 4 door Bronco reservation. Total sh*tshow!FYI, I was informed this morning by my escalated case manager that my 2021 should be built the week of 7/26. I'm ordering a 2022 partially because I don't believe him, and the other part because I'll be out several thousand dollars if I sell a 2021 vs a 2022. I was told that if I order a 2022, expect a 14-16wk delivery time
Not sure about that, the factory is shut down this week for the switch to 22 modelsFYI, I was informed this morning by my escalated case manager that my 2021 should be built the week of 7/26. They have been "gathering parts" since the first of May.

Unfortuntately, that doesnt mean much and is a standard response. We all get the same verbiage on all of our builds when we speak with RAM chat. This is their standard answer. I got my VIN back on May 11 I think, and I have been getting the same answer as you received since then. This is D status. It was confirmed in a previous post the factory start date has been pushed back from the 7/26/21 date mentioned to 8/9/21.This is the exact wording from an email this morning:
Thank you for your response. This is a courtesy email update regarding your Ram 2500 factory order status. We are anxious to get your vehicle built and shipped to your dealer as quickly as possible and want to assure you that your order has our attention and priority.
I show your order has been sequenced for production with all the parts necessary to begin building your order either being scheduled or gathered. Your order has an estimated production plan timing noted to take place the week of 07-26-21. Please keep in mind, this timing is projected and could be subject to change.
That was on a 2021 order. I posted it to show that a case manager was saying they are still building 2021s as of 7/26. 2022 builds will not start on that dateUnfortuntately, that doesnt mean much and is a standard response.
