What did you do TO your RAM today?

Got this far on the dissembled trying to do some research on the best method before I go for trying to mold it back into at least a reasonable shape.. any suggestions? Thinking hair dryer to get it a little bit malleable.

Twofold... improves the looks by making the wheel well all black including covering the gap between bed and frame (see attached pic for the "before") - and - it reduces how much road grime and water get on the wheel well. The plastic liner won't rust or corrode.

Also prevents a lot of mud and debris from collecting near the rear bumper. When I installed mine, had to clean the area up and it was a mess!

Skip the hair dryer and get a heat gun. Even on the lowest setting it'll be better than a hair dryer. I did this same method for removing a dent from the wifes car once. It does kinda work but still not perfect.

I have one. A little hesitant to use it. I have no paint damage on the dent and don’t want to cause any

This is going to get worse before it gets better in my opinion. The paint will only give so much and reshaping that metal will likely result in some sort of paint loss/damage. Good luck to yah and sorry for the mishap. $hit happens.

Call a mobile paintless dent removal guy and let him have a go at it. Some of those guys can work magic.
Would be my recommendation as well. Worth a few hundred bucks up front to not make it worse before you end up calling them anyways.

Drove the truck up to test drive these two Rovers - A Range Rover Sport and a Defender 90. The red one went home with us. The Defender 90's cargo area was ridiculously small. My wife was thinking about a Wrangler 4xe but with the poor response from Stelantis about the CP4 it made it an easier decision to go elsewhere.

I thought I would be posting up today about putting my CJC Intercooler guard on, but Sunday was spent rearranging the garage to make it easier to park the new sport in there.

I don't know how much better off you are replacing the brand with some CP4 issues with a Rover! Good luck. They are cool rigs.

It is not so much the CP4 problem. The Wrangler she was looking at doesn't even have a CP4. It is the customer service regarding issues like those and others. Any car can have issues. It is the customer service that makes the difference. Regardless, our last Rover was great for 9 years. Customer service was great. We had a fuel pump go out after warranty but it was a $600 fix. It would have been less if I had done it myself. I hope we have similar luck with this one.

Plus now she doesn't need to borrow my truck anymore!

Well, been a while since I posted but put on Borla S, aluminum drop steps, had windows tinted, clayed it and added a graphene coat, and put on the summer shoes.
Looks like a Marcellus Wellsite or perhaps a meter station/compressor station?

I have no personal experience with this, but don't they also use dry ice to do PDR? Or am I thinking of something different.
