How hard is it to revert back? Is it a flash or a piggyback?

Thanks! Staying away from it. Any time it’s a tune with the ECU I stay far away.It is a flash and no more difficult than it was to load a tune. Takes I'd guess around 10 mins start to finish.
How else you going to tune it? You make a change to the exhaust, turbo , intake etc, ECM needs to calibrated to take advantage of it. it isn't like tuning a carb with your ear. Thanks! Staying away from it. Any time it’s a tune with the ECU I stay far away.

There are "tuners" (I use that term loosely) that piggy back and intercept signals and modify them so you are not flashing the ECM. I don't personally recommend any of them though.
.
Banks or Edge is probably the most well known, also not recommended. Don't know if they still do, but did on the older trucks. Edge kept the ECM in diag mode to fool it.
Banks supposedly has a unit for the newer trucks coming soon, but they have been say that for a while now so who knows if it will ever make it to market?

Good info. What year truck do you have? Is it a 2500 or 3500?After some thought and much attention paid to John Jenson, I decided to accept the risk and installed the Ezlynk module from Calibrated Power.
The customer service and support was excellent, the tune was unbelievably easy, and results are better than expected. I was able to achieve several things that bugged me about the truck, to include Foglight dropout, TPMS limit settings, and the speed limiter removal. The performance tunes were not what I was after when I started researching, but I am very pleased with the outcome, inspite of the risk of losing my warranty. Notes and first impressions after about 60-80 miles after the tune load:
1. I installed the Light tow tune, since I pull a 3000lb trailer with motorcylces, sxs, etc, and will not likely exceed 8000lbs.
2. It takes about 50 miles or better for the tranny shift to settle down and smooth out, so drive easy and slow acceleration helps a lot.
3. Very noticable response at take off, a lot of typical lag these trucks have disappears.
4. Quick response and downshift in traffic when I need to accelerate quickly and did not even need to get the pedal down more tha 50% to the floor.
5. Cruising at 90, took it up to about 108 very quickly with pedal down only about a third of the way. VERY responsive.
Again, many thanks to John Jensen for his sharing and insights. They helped guide me in my decision process!

Ziggy, how was gas mileage affected? After some thought and much attention paid to John Jenson, I decided to accept the risk and installed the Ezlynk module from Calibrated Power.

Hard to say, since much of my driving is city. I just filled my tank so I will keep an eye on it and see if my average changes. Its definetly not worse. Last read was about 16.5, but I installed the tune a few days ago in the middle of the tank.Ziggy, how was gas mileage affected?
