What did you do TO your RAM today?

Thanks again el-barto! Ordered yesterday (observed 4th of July holiday), got an email with tracking # where it shipped today!
Can I ask what you are looking at for rear diff guard?
Purple cranium

Still on the fence though. Not a huge fan of how it looks, and rear diff is less likely to take an impact to the cover since it’s Facing rearward. Also considering the AEV iron rear cover. If Carli made a rear one I’d be about that.

I drove it....to see the SuperDirtCar big block modifieds at our local venue, Ransomville Speedway. A great night of racing but it sure was dusty!

Took the Wagon into the local dealership for the first time today.

When I picked my truck up in Washington, two months ago, one of the extraneous non-truck related perks was that Costco sells alcohol. As expected, I bought enough booze to fuel an army before heading back to this funky-lawed state.

Anyhow, the truck started making a knocking, or thump-like, noise from the rear end when you would turn over these last few weeks. Speed didn’t seem to make much of a difference, direction wouldn’t matter. Sometimes it would be fairly loud, other times a lot more subtle. But it was always there, especially if the turn was 90 degrees or under acceleration.

My appointment to get it looked at finally showed up, so I bring the truck down today and am told that it’ll probably take all day due to their workload. I get Ubered home, and within an hour or so they call.

“Sir, we figured out the sound coming from the rear end of the truck. You’ll be happy to know there is absolutely nothing wrong mechanically, and it was a rather easy fix. Under your back seat was a half-gallon of tequila. Whenever you’d turn, it’d slide into the seat rails. Taking it out from under there stopped the noise completely. Feel free to pick up the truck whenever you can.”

…And that was when I remembered putting the one oddball shaped bottle (that wouldn’t fit in the liquor boxes) back behind a seat, so it wouldn’t roll around while I was driving back to UT from WA.

Also, since some may ask. The second line item has to do with my reverse guidance lines vanishing. Settings has them on, but they don't display. Advisor said there is an update coming Q3 that should contain a fix.

haha thats hilarious! I hope you gave the honest service writer the bottle to keep!

Wheels and Suspension Ceramic Coated today. Now the entire truck is done. The sunset is bouncing off her in the 117 degrees weather here in A

did you do it yourself? Costs?

REALLY dependent on location. Here in Canada i had Half the hood, half the front fenders, the headlights and the roofline done for $575.
Aren't you concerned with the PPF looking like hell in a few years? I feel like every vehicle I see that doesn't do the entire panel, always looks absolutely terrible as the PPF ages.

What does PPF costs these days?
Sooo.. ha mine cost me $1200 from a quality shop in town. Whole front end and like 22 or 24 inches up the hood and fenders, door cups and door edges. Only part that didn’t get it on the front was the grill.
