That sounds like a worst case for you lol. worse case for me is I don’t get the truck I wanted to order due to an error that could have been prevented by the sounds of it.

That’s true. I looked over my sheet 4 times to make sure everything was on there. With the lack of a 2022 builder it’s hard to verify what we can/can’t have. We were going off 2021 options hoping that everting would port over to the 2022. Sorry this happened to you.

My dealer pulled up 2022 on the build page.....

I did get multiple offers, so I had a really good idea what I could get. He was extremely easy to work with and the number we agreed on was very comparable to the other offers. I beleive he treated me very fairly, and gave me invoice minus holdbacks on the ordered truck.
 
I ordered on 6/18 and when I called back on 6/22 to change the color it was to late they already had a Vin. I will find out Monday what that status is cause I was suppose to receive a email but never did. I am going through the owner down here from Sterling in Lafayette Louisiana.

Has anyone out there gotten something changed on an order after a VIN was assigned? I emailed Sandi about adding the XN7 camera, which she confirmed is compatible, but said (paraphrasing) that she emailed them and will see what they say. Curious if getting something changed is actually a thing that really happens tho?

No idea. That’s the same response I got. I haven’t asked her if it was accepted or not. Just figured I would be surprised ;)

Seriously guys and gals... it's there any good reason to not jump a couple grand to a Longhorn? And wouldn't resale or trade value be up later because of that trim level? I love that Hydro blue, but Delmonico red on a Longhorn would be kill as well..... and it's just 2 grand...

Same options,my build was almost 5 k more,even taking into account what the Laramie came with that the Bighorn didnt

The Longhorn is not just "Better leather". The Laramie has cloth seats with a bit of suede leather trim. The Longhorn has all leather seats, plus leather and wood dash and door panels and overall way more upscale. To me the Longhorn is a no-brainer decision over the Laramie, unless you hate "bling". Of course we are not talking shiny jewelry bling here, just tasteful leather and wood. It seems everyone who has seen a Longhorn interior likes it.
