Anyone else having issues with the hood filling with water? I am not talking about the noise insulation possibly getting damp or the windshield washer lines leaking because both of those issues are NOT present.
Any time it rains or I wash the truck the hood literally fills with water and it collects between the inner and outer aluminum panels. The water is coming in from the side emblems. Then the only drain holes in the hood are back on the cowl so the only time the hood will drain is when I open it.
It has been to the dealer (twice) and they confirm that the hood fills with water but that the emblems are supposed to let water in....(which is BS)
Any one with a service manual can confirm that the hood is supposed to fill with water, or @ram customer care willing to investigate this further.
This 19 Power Wagon has so many issues it is making pull my hair out.
1. Tires replaced under warranty for cracked sidewalls with less than 300 miles (cords showing)
2. Passenger Side Ram Box, painted cover
3. Rattle in passenger door when window completely up, roll it down at all it disappears (2 dealer trips and only response is cannot replicate)
4. Bought Mopar Floor Liners, part numbers were initially incorrect, took 2 attempts for dealer to get correct part
5. Driver side mirror replacement for the rear facing LED filling with water.
6. Alignment, factory one was complete garbage and was driving around with wheel pointing at 10:30 or 11 o'clock
7. Body / Front end groaning and popping when turning tight in parking lots (still trying to pin point what exactly is causing this)
(I'm in auto industry and this is ridiculous, if RAM needs a new director of quality I will submit a resume)
