2022 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your TRUCK order here! ** NEW USERS READ POST #1 **

XH7 was added to my limited build order but XN1 was not added. When I placed the order they attempted to add XN1 but it would cancel out the limited level 1 group. I hope the XH7 with the limited group includes the 4 trailer surround cameras.

After several discussions with my salesman, this is my understanding about the trailer cameras, at least for the power wagon:

AVF: provides digital rearview mirror and one camera for rear mounting. Will display on digital rearview mirror while in tow mode
XN1: provides four cameras for surround trailer camera. Only displays temporarily on center counsel screen
XFQ: provides wiring for one camera for mounting in or on trailer (No camera included). Only displays temporarily on center counsel screen.

All three are stand alone options. So you can get one or all of them. All must be ordered when the truck is built. I assume this will mean there would be three separate camera connectors in the rear bumper.

On the power wagon, AVF is $945. This is an interesting option because the only other way to get the digital rearview mirror on the power wagon is by adding the $1990 Safety Group. I have no interest in lane keep assist or active cruise control, but would like the digital rearview mirror.
FYI, the XN1 is $995 retail and $916 invoice on my build. I expect that the AVF is less.

With the AVF, how are you expected to run the cable to the back of a 36' fifth wheel? How does the camera attach to the body of the unit? My understanding that this is all hardwired cameras and nothing is wireless.

Can you post your purchase order/invoice for your Limited? I'm looking at ordering a Limited but trying to figure out pricing on the Limited options.

Here's mine, if it helps.

Here’s my order. I haven’t reached out to Sandi to get the final price since she’s been super busy. I try not to bug her.

To my knowledge, all cameras are wired. The camera included in the AVF package is the XH7. The XH7 is described as "Tow-Mode Camera (Wired)."

To those who were interested in group shipping to the Arizona area from Mark Dodge

I had put out some feelers for shipping prices early on cause I really don’t want to drive 1900 miles back home.
I spoke with yellowfin logistics today about a possible full load of trucks from there to Phoenix. He says he has drivers that can fit 8 and that load would cost around 4200$
I have my doubts that a standard vehicle transport could fit 8 full size HD Rams but he says it can and he has others that can haul more. I still intend to let Sandi/Aaron get a price when the time comes but if 4200/8=525 is in the ball park, I’ll book a flight to Phoenix.

I am from CA, but if you fall short on the full truck load, I’d be happy to fill in a spot and fly/drive it home from AZ. The drive from AZ to CA is certainly doable. But LA to CA … well, that’s something different haha

I’m also in Ca. There were quite a few guys from the Arizona area and the price doubles to come all the way to Where I am in Ca. Flights to Phoenix are about 100$ right now.

On some of the build sheets guys are posting...there will be a code for specific zones (example: Phoenix) Others it says..Vehicle invoiced through Mexico sys. Does anyone know why some show one versus the other?
Also, does anyone know what the sales code of 99587 A is? On the bottom of the build it says special equipment. I noticed it on mine, as well as one that someone else just recently posted.

Here are the Options that I'm looking for prices (MSRP and Invoice on each):

--Auxiliary Switches (I know the snow chief gives you those but I wanted dual alternators)
--440 Alternator's
--Dual Rear Wheel
--Tri-fold Bed Cover
--MAX Tow package
--Limited Level 1 package

I have a pretty good guess on each of these. But I have noticed that almost every option carried over from the 2021's has gone up in price....not by much $50, $100, $200...etc....

Thanks to @msoto and @agtcovert for posting your invoices....I do appreciate it!

I'm in for that deal so long as the timing works for all parties involved. I'm sure if there's a full load and a truck doesn't show up on time that the rest of the group may not be happy waiting for the stragglers to show. Either way, I'm in!

Finally sealed the deal on a 2022 RAM 5500 Limited Cab and Chassis 60". Been a heck of an ordeal to find pricing below the standard 1% below invoice affiliate pricing. I finally came in about 2.8% under invoice by leveraging some commercial small business pricing and small business financing incentives. There were no FCA active rebates on the RAM 4500/5500 platforms (can't use PENFED and the like because they only go up to 3500 platforms). Hopefully, when the vehicle gets delivered there will be some new FCA incentives to further reduce the cost. I contacted about 10 dealers for pricing. Most local in the Virginia/Maryland area and a few farther out like Chapman, Lakeland, and Mark Dodge. Ended up with a local dealer (Safford of Warrenton,VA) offering the best pricing of 2.8% under invoice. Unfortunately, Mark Dodge cant sell 4500/5500 platforms so that easy option wasn't available. Lakeland never got back to me after multiple phone calls and emails. Andrea from Chapman was great to deal with and super helpful with providing me crucial configuration information and my first quote but unfortunately she couldn't do much better than the standard affiliate 1% below invoice pricing. Also, the cost of shipping a vehicle 2000 miles just made it financially unviable. I would like to call Andrea out for providing the best customer experience of all dealers I worked with! Overall, I was surprised that few dealers wouldn't honor even affiliate pricing on a factory order. I even had one dealer saying MSRP on factory order (WTF?).

The truck is about as fully loaded as I could get it. The one option I couldn't select was the Tow Mode Rear View option AVF or XH7 tow mode camera unless I got rid of the the Level 1 Limited package. That was a non-starter. Dealer Connect just wouldn't let us configure XH7 or AVF with the A69 package :( Must be something specific to the 4500/5500 platform or an issue with dealer connect at this point. Just have to go without it. Now on to the waiting game, just hoping there are no restrictions and the order gets verified/accepted without issue. Fingers crossed.
