I successfully added remote tailgate release for about $10. My fob had the terminal points on the circuit board for the release so I ordered a set of micro buttons and soldered it on. Had to remove some of the rubber under the button but that was easy. Now to find a way to add the interior tailgate drop button.

I didn’t think to take photos before I put it back together but you can see the four solder points in the middle left. Just needed the button soldered on. I also already added the tailgate damper prior to this.

That's awesome!! Would you mind sharing or PM'ing the link to where you got them and a part# I have a PDM (power distribution module)display that the button broke and quit working and looks identical to those.

Switched out the dull interior lighting with some new LED's. Its amazing with the technology they put in these trucks nowadays that they wouldn't make interior LED's standard. View attachment 6154

Any install tips? Mine arrives today.

It was pretty simple. Can be done with one person, will be faster with two. There's a video on YouTube that shows the install, which is helpful to watch beforehand:

Only thing I would add is that it says to align the leading edge of the tracks with the inside boundary of the truck bed. Mine needed to go 1/2 to an inch closer to the front of the truck to get the bars to lay on the edge of the bed.
