I’ve seen these as well and have wondered about some real world info on if they improve some minor harshness. I know they won’t be drastic but any bit helps on a 3500. I didn’t order the factory air suspension on my 3500.

They do help. I’ve installed them on my 3500 SRW

@CRToney Do you have the rear air suspension? Looks like you installed these, did you encounter any surprises?

Thank you for sharing your experience. I was hesitant given this gentleman's experience reporting little improvement. Sadly this was the only post, so no update.

I read about reducing tire pressure. Since I received the truck with 80 psi all around, I thought if I lowered to the recommended psi on the door post, that would help. No, it didn't. I purchased and had installed what is called Sulastic Shackles. They are recommended by many on the internet and are reported to make a 1 ton truck ride like a 1/2 ton truck. Well, with my 1 ton truck, they make it ride like a … errr … well … a 1 ton tuck.

I have them on my 97 DRW Been on for a couple years no problems. they do tame the ride a little bit.

I have spring suspension. Isn’t air supposed to be smooth?

When I looked at air ride 3500 SRW it had fewer leaves in spring pack.

The bags are just helpers it still runs the same spring packs as the non air bagged trucks

No, the air equipped trucks use the air spring as overload and are sans that spring. Perhaps you meant to indicate that the air suspension equipped 3500 still uses a leaf spring pack.

I thought I read that there was one less spring in the pack when equipped with Air Ride

There is.

When I looked at air ride 3500 SRW it had fewer leaves in spring pack.
