You can get the 50 gal on a 2500, the requirement is the 8 ft bed.2500 buyer here…jealous of the 50 gallon tank for $295 MSRP![]()

Yeah, I have a 2500 now, I feel like the 31-32 tank is a thimble. I'll feel much better on long trips having the extra. If I can find a place when I'm around 1/2 tank, it'll also make me feel like I'm spending less.2500 buyer here…jealous of the 50 gallon tank for $295 MSRP![]()
Agreed. S&B makes one as well. I heard they were working with EZ Lynk on some updates to get distance to empty working on their 52 gallon tank too. Just gotta save the $1100+ up for when the 2022 arrivesYeah, I have a 2500 now, I feel like the 31-32 tank is a thimble. I'll feel much better on long trips having the extra. I seriously considered the Titan tank. I love these trucks, I just don't understand why such a small tank is on a vehicle that's going to be gulping fuel with a load behind it. Even if you need bio breaks, sometimes pulling a trailer into a station can be a PITA, if you're not on the freeway.
Here’s a screenshot from a 2021 window sticker. I’m guessing it’s still part of it?Has anyone added the Digital Rear View w/ Tow Mode option? I think it's option code AVF.
Sandi says it's part of Safety Group B, but I don't see it listed in the Safety Group B sheet. Just want to make sure it's not a standalone option that I need to add.
I didn’t add it and wish I would have. She’s right in the fact that you get the digital mirror with the safety group. The AVF I believe includes the camera for your trailer also. I’m hoping I can add the camera after the fact and it will work with the mirror. On the 21’ the mirror is hard wired to the center stop camera so it’s not possible to have a different camera feed it.Has anyone added the Digital Rear View w/ Tow Mode option? I thought one of the 2022 changes was the ability to have an aux camera besides the CHMSL viewable in the rear view while driving. See attached. Here’s a screenshot from a 2021 window sticker. I’m guessing it’s still part of it?
Edit: not sure how that works with tow mode option though.
Correct, but we don’t know if you HAVE TO add the AVF option.I thought one of the 2022 changes was the ability to have an aux camera besides the CHMSL viewable in the rear view while driving. See attached.
I didn't even realize this was a 22 option and just assumed that if you got Safety B with the digital rear view and the Trailer 360 it would allow the rear trailer cam to display on the digital rear view mirror. However, from the slide it looks like these two options (360 vs. two mode) may be incompatible. It would be strange to not link the digital rear view with the rear camera from the Trailer 360 view, but it might be a different kind of connection from the trailer. I already have a furion rear cam that works well, but I find that for on the road driving it really isn't needed. I mostly care about what is on either side of me, not behind me. If I'm moving too slow, they can always pass!Correct, but we don’t know if you HAVE TO add the AVF option.
Yeah, the trailer surround 360 will display on the infotainment and the trailer tow mode will be an option for the digital mirror and won’t time out. Would be nice if they integrated them with each other though.I didn't even realize this was a 22 option and just assumed that if you got Safety B with the digital rear view and the Trailer 360 it would allow the rear trailer cam to display on the digital rear view mirror. Not that I know of. We both signed a price agreement (mine's a 2022, so I don't expect pricing changes). My emails also indicate a purchase price + an amount for TTL.Do dealers usually mark up the price on new truck orders when its time to pay for it? The total price on my order sheet is a bit over 73k but I see no mark-ups or anything from the dealer? I've emailed our sales guy too
Thanks for the update. Classic 1500s are not until November. 5th gen 1500s start up in August. You very well could see this in September. We just got a letter from Stellantis telling us production on 2500/3500/4500 and 5500 trucks and chassis is estimated to begin 7/26/21. (1500s don't start until November).![]()

Thanks for the help Andrea. Glad you are sticking around. I placed this order on May 7, and didn’t think about the Center Stop Lamp / Cargo camera until just now. Can you tell from my build if it is included in one of the packages, or am I SOL???Does anyone on here have any questions about 22s that haven't been answered? I'll be happy to help. Thank you to all who have reached out to me by pm!
Does the new Tow Mode option (AVF) for the digital rearview mirror when ordered with the Trailer 360 Surround Camera system (XN1) utilize the same rear camera that is included in the Trailer Surround Camera option? The Trailer 360 View slides we've seen state the option comes with the 4 cameras that you mount on your trailer.Does anyone on here have any questions about 22s that haven't been answered? I'll be happy to help. Thank you to all who have reached out to me by pm!
Check with Andrea at Chapman above. Looks like they have those on their site. If not, check with Mike at Lakeland in Florida ([email protected])Anyone know of a dealer that also sells 4500/5500s and willing to sell at an aggressive discounted price?
