I did see threads on here that it is a good idea to get the screen protector. That makes sense considering it takes up so much room, I can see there being a good chance of something getting thrown around in the truck or something falling that could hit that. My question is, do you find the matte or glossy ones to be better?

to me, the matte kills all of the reflection, which is what I wanted. plus, no prints. seems glossy would be terrible... maybe not.

I went glossy as that maintained the uncovered look ( at least according to the marketing). Only 600 miles on the truck, but have been pleased with it so far.

I have a glossy, definitely a fingerprint magnet but better than stock and looks good too. Probably wouldn’t mind a matte but didn’t come across any when I was looking

I went with the matte. Before I had the windows tinted it really helped with the glare. But after tinting, I am sure either would be fine.

Matte for sure... keeps the glare down and any smudges are vastly less noticeable.

I went with this one first- https://www.amazon.com/Kykr-Premium...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==
It is glossy, and it was absolutely unbearable for me. In sunlight, I could see the reflection of the back seat area clearly, and not the controls on the screen. I’ve since switched to the matte version, and it’s much better- https://www.amazon.com/Kykr-Premium...jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

I got the Kykr as well... well worth it..

I went with this one and have no complaints. I couldn’t even tell it’s there after the first week and the one air bubble dissipated.

It’s looks exactly the same as before I installed a screen protector.

I have the glossy KYKR. I didn't know there was a matte version when I ordered it. I love mine and I'm not a fan of screen protectors. It looks really good, you can't tell that it's there. I don't have a problem with fingerprints or glare on the glossy version. I have tinted windows and no sunroof FWIW.
