2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Hello all,
My February 26th order finally arrived at my dealership yesterday. I will be picking it up Friday. Its been a long road. But it is definitely worth it! Had to lean on the sales manager quite a bit to get the ball rolling and get some fire under the ontario reps tushy. Can't wait to pick it up. Goes in for graphene coating shortly after delivery.

I am getting g 6250 off, 2.99 % on top of my employee preferred price. Will post cleaned and detailed pictures once its been coated. But here's some teasers.

For those who ordered from Dennis Dillon, how long did your truck sit at the rail yard in Utah. My truck has been there for almost 2 weeks now. Its getting frustrating.
Mine was there just over two weeks and then delivered to dennis dillion the day after it left roper utah.

NICE! I took delivery of mine yesterday. Same as yours except we went with the gasser. Love the Patriot Blue / Night edition! And the factory wheel to wheel running boards are great!
I haven't figured out percentage off msrp yet, but with the wife's employee pricing it sure seemed like a good deal.

My experience:
Dec 31, 2020-ordered
Feb 5, 2021-pricing confirmed ($550 increase)
Feb 15, 2021-VIN provided
Apr 8, 2021-dealer informs me truck is waiting on microprocessor(s)
May 12, 2021-truck arrives in Calgary on a train
May 17, 2021-truck offloaded from train
May 19, 2021-truck delivered
Ever since then - I haven't stopped smiling.....

Mine was a fleet purchase (final price was 22.5% off list including the $550 increase mentioned above) and I believe my sales guy told me the truth every time I asked. I don't think FCA Canada gives them much information and as a Canadian, we don't get to converse with RAM Chat like our American friends. I did receive one acknowledgement from RAM Chat (USA) that my unit would arrive in Calgary around mid-May, which turned out to be correct. All the other times I engaged RAM Chat, they told me to call FCA Canada, and in turn they told me to call my dealer.

If we could collectively funnel the energy everyone on this forum has spent (especially me) calling our dealers, conversing with RAM Chat and complaining how long everything takes and why FCA can't track trucks like Amazon can track $10 items, we could probably power a small city.....

The wait is worth it - especially for anyone who has never owned a diesel, I couldn't be happier.

As far as I know, the 3500 does not have an Off-Road package such as the 2500. I believe it may be tied to the 12" UConnect on the 3500, but not positive. So more curious if there is a 3500 with the Laramie Level A, and the 8.4 that has the Off-Road Info Pages.

I attached the build sheet it does not show it as a add on for B package. So it maybe part of the A.

My DRW 3500 Laramie level A has the off road info pages. LOL, not that i'll ever use them, but they are there. I do have the 12" screen.

Congrats and Enjoy.

looks like I may be waiting until late July/early August for my truck to actually show up, it apparently still has not hit the assembly line based on my latest info. This relaxed attitude from the dealership and lack of anyone giving a **** is getting old. Projecting things out it looks like it will be between 27-29 weeks since ordering. @RamCares all I can say is WTF

Dealer confirmed placed the order 03/16. My recent chat with sales concluded with still no VIN and sales saying when they called FCA for update.. apparently they were told ''they are starting to build again very soon''. I acknowledge the chip shortage and my build of course being effected as it is loaded but I really hope it is not much past August that I get my truck. Otherwise I may as well switch to a 2022 (lol with half cry). I am not sure if us Canadians are supposedly having longer wait times for any reason but trying to read through this thread and others makes it seem like some people are getting their trucks as if nothing is going on and others you would think that Saltillo plant is the birth place of World War Z..

Just think should have a pretty low k truck if you want to sell, but it doesn,t matter I will eventually get a brand new Cummins 3500, if it lasts half as long as my 2000 5.9 dually I will be a happy camper, I can only imagine how long it would take to get a 2022, If it doesn,t get here soon it will be about 2 years by the time i get all this crap , I mean accessories I,m buying put on,
There is so much BS going on with everything Covid, parts shortages, train wrecks, and Ram@whocaresaboutnobody its a wonder we even get new stuff, nothing is made here anymore

My 21 3500 is a Laramie Level A and I have non nav 8.4, no off-road pages on the radio but the dash displays an off-road page of the driveline and transfer case as well as pitch and roll indicators.

Thanks for that info! I figured the dash info screens would be tied to requiring the radio app being present on the nav versions, but I greatly appreciate you passing that info along. Thanks again.

Hi,
I’m newbie here, but I have owned several Ram trucks over the years. Of all the Ram trucks I have owned, I had never placed an order for my specific wants, until now.

I placed my order with my local dealer on 4/17 for a Big Horn, CC, 2500, Cummins, with RamBox, Level 2, bench seat, in Granite Crystal with the night edition package.
The dealer notified me today that the build had officially been completed and is shipping. He had originally told me that I would be looking at mid to late June so I am excited that it appears to be early.
I got notified from the dealer yesterday that my truck had arrived. I stopped by to take a look and man does it look sweet! I’m going in this afternoon to sign all the paperwork and bring her home!

Truck is at dealership and ready for pickup. Basically 41 days from order to available for pickup.

4/30 - Order placed, VON issued
5/3 - Received VIN from dealer
5/15 - RamChat stated truck in framing
5/19 - Build sheet available
5/22 - Window sticker issued
5/24 - RamChat stated target delivery date is 6/1 - 6/15
6/2 - Dealer said vehicle is in Colorado
6/10 - Truck prepped and ready at dealer

Picked up my truck yesterday at dennis dillion in Caldwell ID. Absolutely would recommend them to anyone. Great customer service everything went smoothly from order to pickup. The new 8spd transmission is night and day better than the old 6spd. Only have one picture since I need to put 500 hundred miles on it before towing. The wife took it to Oregon today for the weekend.

I've got my truck! Ordered 2/15 and it arrived up at Bud Clary May 22nd. Family flew up to Seattle the Thursday before Memorial day to take delivery on Friday. I had done everything possible to make sure it was a smooth/quick process - but then disaster struck.

I arrived at the dealership Friday morning and they pulled the truck around - and discovered somebody had stolen the catalytic converter the night before while the truck was staged to get detailed. I climbed under the truck - they didn't take just the cat, but cut out an entire 6 foot length of exhaust components. Dealer scrambled to assess the damage and what parts would be needed. They checked around with other Seattle dealers to see if they had parts, but not luck. And they had no trucks on the lot to scavenge from - the only Cummins 2500 they had on the lot was to be given to a fellow forum member on Saturday. So they ordered all the parts, but since it was memorial day weekend they said the parts wouldn't arrive until the following Tuesday, and they would get me on the road the next Wednesday. With very few options, decided to extend the mini-vacation for a few days - dealer let me pick one of their newer for sale used car (a nice 2019 Cherokee) and helped with hotel costs. On Tuesday all the parts but the cat arrived, so they ordered a backup cat just in case - glad they did since the original was lost in transit and never arrived. The backup cat arrived mid-day Thursday, so they repaired the truck and I took final delivery of the Truck on Friday (a week later than planned).

The only thing I fault the dealer for was that the truck wasn't securely stored the night before - typically they store in an area that has razor wire, etc. But we were both the victims of some meth-head idiot(s) that figured they would try and make some money. I do appreciate they did clean work and didn't damage anything else though :) The deailer hasn't had a cat robbery issue until now, although a dealership about 10 miles north had been hit recently. The shipping delay for the cat was a Stellantis issue (they showed me all the shipping info). If I didn't have flexibility this would have been a complete disaster - and waiting around for the new truck an extra week wasn't ideal - but on the flip side my family and I got to explore the Pacific Northwest for a week which was cool.

Otherwise, had a very positive experience. No issue with anything else ( I had my own financing in place) and no hard upsells or anything like that. And certainly no issues with the agreed upon price.

It was nice meeting Pkane at the dealership the Friday before Memorial Day. If I knew then that I'd be playing tourist for a week I might have hit him up for a place to stay...... Ha!

The 1,200 drive home was very comfortable, and have been enjoying every minute of the truck. Worth the wait!

Awesome man, congrats. Max steel is a nice color. I had the same color on my 2016 2500.

Time to sit back and wait for tags now.... They still havent sent my paperwork to the DMV.
