2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

I am in BC Canada. Your dealer is lying. All they have to do is check the status of the order(if they actually ordered it) and it will tell them the state of the order. As soon as the vin is there they will see it. They should at minimum have a VON by now. I ordered mine on feb 2 and received the truck 2 weeks ago. I got my VIN within a few days of the order being placed.
i could be wrong, but i understood VIN # is created after they have confirmed the parts are available and before the factory starts building it ( they need to know what they are building) . Until then, they can reference VON#.

This is where mine is sitting, waiting to confirm parts are available. i placed mine 05/20 so i dont have much hope

Not usually.

A VIN is typically assigned days after the truck is ordered. In my case, it was 3 days.

My truck didnt hit D status (the status which indicates all parts are collected for the build--and build is scheduled) until about 3 weeks.

Yep.. almost 6400. Crazy!

Not a bad towing capacity either for a Hemi this is pretty much a weekend warrior truck as far as hauling and towing - I have a company truck. I just felt other than the payload I just couldn't have done a diesel justice it was just way more than I would have ever used. We will see if I regret it at the pump and towing I'm very curious.

First post on here, right now I’m dealing with Sandi at Mark Dodge. I live in PA and the dealers here and in MD aren’t coming off MSRP. Sandi offered about 14% off the MSRP from the ram build site. Ordering a 2500 Laramie in Silver Billet. Looks like I’ll be taking a trip to Louisiana. I’m also trading in my 2020 Ram Laramie 1500. Unsure if I’ll sell it before or trade it in there.

I'll be interested to hear how it does! That truck weighs 7600 lbs, so no light-weight, but nowhere near as heavy as my diesel truck. With the 4.10's, you should be just fine!

Sure is a good looking truck.. i was torn between the white and GCM that I ended up choosing.

I will definetly post how it does. Thank you. I loved the Granite thats what my PW was but I moved on gravel so I bought the lighter color otherwise I would have bought it again. The metal flake is amazing in that paint.

It does 63 or 6600 lbs I have a 525 gallon water tank I will be putting in the bed.
Quick side question to anyone that can answer this. I noticed in your windows sticker that the Ram "Off-Road Info Pages" are listed on the window sticker under your Laramie Level B equipment group; does anyone know if the Off-Road pages are included on the Laramie Level A equipment group? And if not, is it reasonable to assume that they can be activated via alphaobd, at least on 2021+ 3500 trucks? Thanks to anyone who has ordered a 21' 3500 with the Laramie Level A group that can confirm or post their window sticker.

Pretty sure the off road pages are enabled with the Off-road package.

As far as I know, the 3500 does not have an Off-Road package such as the 2500. I believe it may be tied to the 12" UConnect on the 3500, but not positive. So more curious if there is a 3500 with the Laramie Level A, and the 8.4 that has the Off-Road Info Pages.

Sit back and relax because you ordered end of May, If its anything like some of us up here 25 weeks they will be building the 2022,s before we get them, nice trucks but zero support, They want you to cancel so they can mark them up, just another greedy company

I attached the build sheet it does not show it as a add on for B package. So it maybe part of the A.

First time I have ordered a vehicle built to my specs. It is definitely a test of patience, haha. Ordered from Dave Smith in Idaho. I am hoping for a late June delivery.

4/16: Ordered 21 PW
5/4: D1 status update from dealer, VIN from Ram Chat
5/17: Ram Chat says its in Framing

5/18: Build Sheet on Crypto Stickers
5/20: Ram Chat says its built but pending additional options to be installed.

5/24 Window Sticker was up on Crypto Sticker
5/28 Dealer calls to tell me its on the train
6/8 Dealer says its in Wyoming on its way to Washington State for off load, then its trucked back to Idaho. If I am real lucky I might be picking it up Fathers Day weekend, or the weekend after.

It sure is hard to wait! First time ordering a truck/vehicle.
3500 Limited SRW Long bed HO
Ordered on 3/19
Shipped 5/12
Dealer just told me ETA to Portland rail yard is 7/12
I can't believe it takes so long for shipping. Wondering how long it will take once it hits the rail yard until it gets to the dealer?

14% off is more than usual off MSRP from Mark Dodge. Does that include rebates of some sort?
