‘19 CC LB Tman Cummins here. Stock suspension. Been talking to CJC a little getting some feedback. I’m set on the CJC Racelines (17x9) with the 20 offset. Trying to decide on tires - looking for opinion/feedback/understanding. Eyeing Toyo Open Country M/T and attempting to maintain towing integrity. Opinions on LT315/70r17 (121/118Q Load E) or 35x12.50r17LT (125Q Load E)? The overall size is about half inch in height. Toyo website appears to say they’ll both fit these wheels, unless I’m reading this incorrectly. Will both of these tire options provide sufficient ratings for towing? Opinions? What are you boys running for stock suspension? I should note that I currently have the stock tradesman 17s.

Just FYI. The Toyo MTs have a ton of drag on the highway. I had 315/70r18s (36x13) on my current truck and had to lock out 6th gear pulling my camper. I moved to 37x12.50r18 Falken AT3Ws and can now run with the transmission in drive and it will hold 6th easily at 70.

I don’t know if you’ve already decided on a set of tires but I fancy the Nitto Ridge Grappler’s. It’s the hybrid Nitto offers. The offspring of an All Terrain & Mud Terrain. ***Link below***

No problem brother, i want to run them but I’m going with 40’s and the Trail Grappler are the only available size for 40’s. The struggle is real.

Sexy setup man!!! Let’s see them fotes when it’s complete! If I didn’t have to tow so much - I’d kill to have that setup!!!!

And that’s just it, I sold my fifth wheel and all the toys years ago and was whipping around in my 04’ 3500 solo dolo. Thinking about picking up a Keystone Cougar tow behind that’s only 29’ for a little travel trailer for when I go up to Zion or Sequoia, and other camp sites and it has an available hitch receiver on the back for my mountain bike to be attached which would work out so it leaves my bed accessible.

It’ll be awhile if I finalize this build decision. Waiting on Fab Four to get back with me on some questions I had about fit ability and things, $14k is about what I project for the build, that includes suspension, the fender kit, and wheels and tires. Fingers crossed. Who knows though. My problem is I find a new idea weekly and can never make up my mind. My introduction thread I posted weeks ago has me wanting 26” wheels on 40” tires. It’s a never ending battle of choices with our passions.
