2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

wow, that sucks

At this point I'm hoping the 2022 PW will get the anticipated " special edition" and the interior options from the 75A will carry over.

Good luck with yours
There’s a Level 3 Equipment Group for 2022 that has most of the 75A options minus the rock rails, beadlock wheels, swivel headlights, and brown interior. I was told all but the brown leather could be added as options.

I’m not sure why yours is taking so long. I’m on Vancouver Island in BC and I ordered my loaded Longhorn HO dually on Feb 1/21.. Mine got to the dealership in 16 weeks to the day. I didn’t think that was terrible. My son also ordered a basic Bighorn diesel dually on the same day and his was delivered in 17 weeks. It must be very frustrating for you. I’m thinking it must have something to do with how many vehicles each dealer is allocated. Can’t see what else it might be.
The more I talk to the various sales managers I get when I call, I am slowly putting together a picture that makes me think my dealership is the problem. My sales guy was laid off so I get whoever is available when I call for updates and I get a different story whenever I call

my limited mega cab has virtually everything aside from clearance lamps, sunroof and it is a HEMI

still no window sticker or build sheet. I’ve been trying to get contact info for the regional rep but no luck so far

I know there is a lot of reasons for the delays but I definitely will never buy from this dealership again

The brown leather I can live without as I much rather have the leather match with the colour of the dash.

The beadlock capable rims… I can live without as I was going to paint the beauty rings to match the black paint.

However….

The swivel directional headlamps, accent front and rear door lighting, LED signal lights, full console, turn sensitive LED fog lamps is what makes it look like the higher models like the HD Limited Longhorn or the HD Limited.

And of course, the dash Build Number badging along with the 75th anniversary Console Emblem and external pillar etc. is what makes the hefty priced 75th package.

“Consolation” Equipment #3 Package perhaps but and unfortunately, not even close to the 75th Anniversary.

Hey RAM! Show some RAM Care as there are not many of us Canucks with BX Status and sitting in the rafters to get our trucks built.

Thanks in Advance RAM. Please make our Builds a reality as there is still time.

Check out this post. It has the details of the L3 package. Much of what you want is included.

well said!

The consistent uncertainty for this build had me searching for alternate options, it was slowly convincing me to accept the truck i dont want.

75th Anniversary ... all or nothing!

I sure hope someone that can make a difference is reading this

You must be special. LOL I,m on Van Island and mine order Feb 23 has a build date June 23 and delivery estimate July 24 and I read some where on here that Mexico stops builds June 24 and shuts down for retooling for the 2022,s . I just hope I will get it this year, on the bright side the truck should be perfect because from the wait they had a whole day to put on a part

I,f you don,t have a vin then I would say you are SOL I have a vin and its for a 2021 so I hopefully will eventually get it, America is getting their trucks in like 8 weeks but they have a way bigger buying power than us lowly Canucks . We have no support from the Dealers and zero from FCA , I want a new truck and don,t want any of the other choices but their not available either. I just hope it gets built and not cancelled that wouldn,t be good business, What would be a good gesture from FCA would be a better discount so far I get $6250 but when I was looking the 2020s were getting about $11000 off MSRP but I doubt that FCA would consider that for us loyal and faithful Ram buyers. But I won,t hold my breath.

4/12 - Ordered (2500 Tradesman 6.4L 4x4 regular cab)
5/23 - Window sticker available
6/3 - Ram Chat is estimating dealer arrival between 7/17 and 7/31 (seems like a really long in-transit time, or else they're seriously padding their estimates)
I think that is a range for first to last stop. I received a range from Ram Chat of 5/28 - 6/10. My dealer sent me a screen shot from his end with the same range, but it also had a "Ramp ETA of 6/1" I believe that its their ETA for my stop. Ram Chat yesterday gave me an updated range of 6/1 - 6/7. Not really sure how it would get delivered 2 days ago. I was really hoping for a call today or tomorrow to come pick it up.

* ordered with Towing Tech group.
Maybe chip shortage is coming to an end

I do have a VIN, I believe I got that back in March if memory serves. My VIN is for a 2021 as well, probably wishful thinking that they perform some magic last minute and change my M to an N lol.

One silver lining of waiting 6 months is that I have at least 6 promotions I can choose between to apply to my truck when it ever comes in. I really regret not going for a 2020 last November, I just decided that if I am going to spend nearly 100k on a truck I really want to get what I really want so I chose to order.

The lack of support, transparency, communication from either the dealers or FCA North of the border is absolutely shocking. I know it is unlikely, as FCA really doesn't give a crap, but it would be nice if they boosted the promotions for those waiting so long or at least offered discounted options at closing time at the dealerships or even 0% financing. I still keep going back to the experience my brother had on his F250 ordered within a week of mine, he had a great experience overall and received his truck 5 weeks ago. Total night and day difference between how Ford and FCA treat their customers through the waiting process in Canada from what I saw.

From what I can see in this forum thread it looks like the only ones waiting for their trucks are us lowly Canadians. I was told sold orders got priority on builds but i see some dealers in my area are getting some sale trucks in, No respect again. In the future on buying another truck I don,t think I would order new anymore just buy whatever comes on the lot or used
Good luck and Congrats on those waiting and those who have received their 2021

I noticed that as well. There are a number of trucks showing up on the lots and in some instances the dealer order date was after mine. I tried working a deal to take one of the ones with a similar build to mine and they keep mine that is coming but they wanted full MSRP for it

I just got a $1000 bonus cash allowance code. Wonder if it will apply along with the one I have that expires this month?

Ordered from Bud Clary on 4/28. ETA for delivery to dealership is 6/4-18, so could be any day now.

I also got the $1000 bonus cash allowance email today which expires at the end of this month, which works out nicely as my previous one "expired" at the end of May.

Now if only the 6.4/4.10 combo will get me 15mpg towing...
It's not just Canada. (Minnesota is almost Canada)
Ours was ordered 4/6, built the following week, and shipped a week after that.
Arrived in Illinois at a holding lot several (3+) weeks ago.
According to FCA email rec'd yesterday, ETA delivery is week of 6/14 ++
Wife works at the dealership = no preferential treatment.
