Man that looks good! We're doing a bathroom reno this weekend so not smoking anything but am going to try 'frying' wings on the kettle with my new charcoal vortex.Miscalculated cooking time, took 16 hours so didn't get to enjoy today. Anyone else smoking some tasty treats this weekend?

Interested in how those wings turn out! Haven't heard of/seen a charcoal vortex smoker. I haven't kept up with the latest options, just been using my trusty WSM for the last 12 years.Man that looks good! Thats a fine looking bark you got there!
What did you use for rub on the pork butt? Looks tasty.Smoked some Al Pastor and finished in the cast iron skillet. Added some resent briskets and pork butts.

Have never had rabbit, but this is how I'd want it! Assume you use a more mild smoking wood, like you do for chicken?Bought a masterbuilt smoker a few weeks ago. Smoked a rabbit last weekend. Doing a small brisket today. View attachment 17114View attachment 17115View attachment 17116

Marinated it overnight in a vinegar based bbq sauce and used oak chips.Have never had rabbit, but this is how I'd want it! Assume you use a more mild smoking wood, like you do for chicken?

Is that a propane/pellet combo?Just picked up a new pit boss this weekend. Now I need to find something to smoke in it.
I've got a 36” Blackstone, it's awesome. Make some tasty philly cheese steaks. Also great for breakfast; hash browns, sausage, eggs all in one go.My Charbroil Commercial Infrared propane grill went with the last house when it sold since I converted it to natural gas to use the house stub.. I don't think I'll be getting another any time soon. Couple friends use only pellet smoker and a Blackstone griddle now. I need to get one. You can cook everything on it.
I've got a freezer full of deer waiting for me to quit being lazy and make jerky.
Deep jerky.. that sounds awesome!
