Glad you have a great experience - headed over in an hour to pickup. Doing sand thing, driving as far as Eugene (Westfir) today.
So, an update to my saga. I ordered from Phil at Bud Clary and picked it up a few weeks ago. Not the greatest dealership experience but I got the deal promised and left satisfied. Phil wasn’t there and got terrible financing. Phil called me a few days later and offered to get me different financing but told him no and I would just get my own financing.
finally had time to go to the DMV to attempt to register my truck. Got my truck weighed and got it smogged (CA is dumb) and went to stand in line. Get to the front of the line and tell them what I’m there for. They tell me to drive to back to get the VIN verification and come back to front of line. Do that and go back. My number is called quickly and I go talk to the clerk. Give her all my paperwork and she sees I’ve paid CA sales tax and $690 in registration fees. She goes to look for paperwork for my truck and they don’t have it. Says I have to pay the full amount as dealership never sent my money. I agree and figure I would just work to get my money back from Bud Clary. They charge me $1100 (screw CA). I pay it but then she asks for my registration or title.
I tell her it’s never been registered and she then asks for the certificate of origin if it hasn’t been registered. It obviously isn’t in my paperwork. I end up being given a temporary registration and to to contact dealer as they never sent the required paperwork. After being at DMV for 2 hrs I am told I can’t complete the registration.
I text Phil with no answer. Call his cell and get sent straight to voicemail. Call the dealership and find out he doesn’t work there anymore. Get transferred to a female manager who was less than friendly. Ultimately explains my loan was never funded and therefore they never sent the required paperwork for me to register the truck. It’s been 22 days since I picked up the truck. No one bothered to contact me or update me. I tell her to cancel the Wells Fargo crap loan and I will have my credit union send them a check to pay for the truck. Why does everything have to be difficult?
Picked my truck up today! Received the 0% for 36 months and the pricing I'd locked in at time of order. Reilly was great. Others were fine. Completed the finance paperwork in advance. Spent 3.5 hours at the dealership without issue so I'll chalk it up as time well spent.
Bonus: Had the chance to meet Sasquatch at the dealership! Waved to Scooter29's truck on my way off the lot.
So did you not notice the $2,000 difference when you initially were going through everything in the dealership?Okay, reviewed my paperwork and wanted to caution folks to check all of the paperwork;
TLDR: The rebate didn’t make it into my paperwork and the $1,000 deposit wasn’t accounted for. I hope this isn’t going to be a hassle. Phoned Phillip on 5/17 to record the $1000 ram cares and 0% for 36 months.

I'm not sure how that could happen really, unless you just totally missed it.
When I went through all my paperwork, with my sales guy, it went like this:
"Price we agreed on...
Minus 1000 in RAM cash...
Your new total.
Add TTL...
Add $165 for doc fee and 3 day permit...
Your OTD total.
Minus down payment and initial deposit...
You owe us this."
OK. (Check number against my napkin math that I had done prior.) I sign.
I fear you may have a hell of a time getting out of what you've signed. You should at least get the deposit back, I'd imagine, since that should be easy to prove excess cash. But the incentive may be toast.
Thank you. Yep, Alberta hereCongrats, I can,t believe how quick you got it, you sure your in Canada. My Feb 22 order went to D1 today , build end of June, ETA end of July ,not sure I believe that, Have lost all faith in what my dealer tells me. Enjoy your ride Hope you have no problems.
No BSM, ordered level B, Tech group, safety group has active cruise maybe this slowing it down, alot of members on here have their trucks loaded, later orders, pretty sure its where your placed in the pile. Oh well I just hope it gets here before people get the 2022sThank you. Yep, Alberta hereI hope you see some progress soon - at least you made it to D1 status and have a build date.
Curious to know if you have Blind Spot Monitoring (sales code XAN) on your order? I purposely left this off and I believe it was a reason why my order was so quick (3 months end to end is really good for a Canadian order as you say!).
I think you can but you have to upgrade from the standard 8.4 unit to the 8.4 Nav unit.I was not able to add them to level A when I ordered my truck. Only way it would work in the order system was to jump to Level B so I said no thanks.
Ya I’m not sure but I’m working with the dealer on cost to have amps installed.I think you can but you have to upgrade from the standard 8.4 unit to the 8.4 Nav unit.
They didn’t ask me about that. I figured there was a centralized DMV center it all gets sent to. Now I know better. Would have done aaa if that was an option. How did it go?
Oregon is beautiful country.. we made it to Vacaville CA today... should be home in SoCal by end of tomorrow.
Yeah.. lots of talk about Phil being gone on this forum over the last few days.
Which DMV did you have them send your paperwork to?
I told them to send mine to my local AAA.. hopefully goes smoother than at the DMV.
We all missed each other by a day. Congrats on the truck.

Found my Window sticker this morning. I hadn't checked in a few days, so not sure when it actually populated. No emails from Crypto. just me checking.Build sheet went live today on Cryptostickers. The wait is nearing the end i guess.

Looks to have remained a level 2 truck as ordered. Did not get dropped to a level b truck. (Not sure if this happened to anyone or not.)
