2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

Bill, they are the OEM running boards, standard equipment on the Longhorn Level 1 Equipment Group, I believe they are also standard on the Limited too. Here are some pictures, they tuck up nicely, in fact you can't really notice there are running boards until you open a door. When the door is closed, they stay open for almost five seconds which is helpful for when you need to get in the rear of the truck to retrieve something - they won't tuck in and go back out again. They are just over six inches wide, no courtesy lights that are part of the running boards but the puddle lights on the mirrors provide all the illumination necessary.

Hi Mark,
Would you take a measurement from the ground to the top of the step for me? I want these on my truck and need to compare to my current truck's steps so I can let the wife know if she'll need to step up another inch or two. Thanks.

Talked to RAM chat today. So I found out that once the truck is cleared for shipping, they do not get another status update until it reaches the dealer.

So now I have to wait for my salesman to give me updates, which has been hard to get at times.

YMMV, but I found that I could just call the Sales dept at the dealer I went through, and get updates. I didn't have to specifically speak to the guy I was working with.

Yea, may have to do that. I've just been texting him. Some days it takes a few days to reply. Others it's only a hour or less.

Been trying to finalize the deal on out the door price with whatever incentives they will take that I have. But he keeps telling me we have to talk to another guy. Then I never hear again from him. I may just call the dealership and talk to the mystery man and get the deal finished before the truck shows up.

I reached out to Aaron @ Mark Dodge to ask for an update. Order date was 4/30 estimated build date is 6/1. Nothing that requires going to the body outfitter, and then its a short trip to the dealer, so hopefully I will get it soon!

I also reached out to Aaron @ Mark Dodge, I was told my truck should arrive 1st or 2nd week of June. I ordered on 4/09. Fingers Crossed.

just noticed, when I ordered my RAM on April 23, the base price was $250 less then the Window Sticker Base Price I just received today. I checked RAMTRUCKS, and sure enough, the base price has increased by $250. Thankfully, all of the options stayed the same. Suppose it’s inflation. No telling how much more the 2022 will be selling for. Not sure if anyone else noticed this.
Mine was up last month $250 higher also but dealer didn't add it to my original deal. Went off original agreed on price plus gave me 2 extra rebates I qualified for on the day I picked up the truck.

I ordered these on my laramie also and love them ! Better than amp on my last truck I believe.

I purchased a big horn back in April. Dealer said it would be finshed on june 4th but not too hold my breath for it to be shipped out quickly. They dont really know how long it will take, what do you guys think? I'm north of chicago if that makes a difference.

I purchased a 2021 Power Wagon - 75 Anniversary and loaded with Safety Group, Tech Group, Bed Utility Group, RAM Box etc.
It was ordered March 30, 2021.

8 weeks ordered and still in BX status. “Order is good” status and waiting to be scheduled to be built....a few of us in this forum are in the same boat. We are located in Ontario, Canada (North East from you).

On the other hand, some of our neighbours located further south are getting their builds much sooner than us.

The wait goes on...in hopes of the PW-75 ever coming in.

Note and if you have a June 4 Build Date, your order is in the D status. If you have a VIN or VON, connect with RAM Chat after June 4 for more updates.

Congrats on your Big Horn order.

MegaCabby,
I ordered a 75th as well back in April. I think the order didn't actually go in until the 21st of April. Mine is built and cleared for shipping. But the only option I picked was mono tone paint and bed group. No other options. Maybe some of your other options require the infamous chip that everyone is waiting on.

Seems there is a train headed out soon as a lot of us from what I am reading on here are expecting a delivery in June.
My salesman said Early June but didn't have a actual ETA.

The Power Wagon shouldn't have been impacted by the chip shortage. When RAM did their press release on the package modifications due to the chip shortage, there were a few models listed as not impacted. It was primiarly the higher trim models, which makes sense because no one is going to buy a Limited or whatever, missing top-tier specs.

"The note to dealers stated that Limited Longhorn, Limited, Ram 1500 TRX, and Ram 2500 Power Wagon packages will remain unchanged for the time being." Source

I think Canada just gets the short end of the stick for some reason.

So my build sheet populated yesterday and it looks like it's all there, but it has D1-To-D Regress listed on it. Anyone know what that means?

Attn: Bud Clary / Phillip Olson customers

Please be advised that as of yesterday, Phillip Olson no longer works for Bud Clary dealerships. You'll want to hang on to any paperwork received and signed during the sales process and reach out to Lewey Mawrence, General Manager @ 253-833-2485 for further questions on your sold orders.

This may be the only time in my life I feel a sense of loss over losing a particular sales agent. He was the first car salesman I've ever dealt with whom I felt was treating me the same way he would a close friend.

Damn, that sucks. I must have been one of the last to pick up a truck from him. It'll be interesting to see if they keep giving out killer pricing. His truck prices were out of this world.
