I ordered mine 4-15 dealer told me it was loaded on a train 5-17 and received window sticker today 73055 paid 66200View attachment 16496

That is A LOT of truck to haul around with a gas motor! She is going to be very good looking though.

I ordered a very similar truck except gray and with the HO diesel... hope to pick mine up next week.

Congrats on the new truck.. I needed a truck that I can use to haul water once a week 5k+ lbs but its only a 6 or 7 mile round trip. I was afraid of damaging a diesel with never doing what it was built to do. I have a company truck so it just wouldnt even get used daily. We are planning on buying a small 5th wheel that will only be used maybe twice a year if lucky. Hopefully the 4:10 helps I have a 19 PW with the 4:10 and 8sp that has all kinds of power it just cant haul that kind of weight.

Anyone have any idea how long it usually takes to ship from Saltillo to Idaho? Mine is on a train and enroute. Im just trying to get a better idea of when to plan to head that way. Im going to have to take some time off of work and need to plan ahead if I can.

Thanks in advance
Mine was shipped to idaho in about 3 weeks time from when it was ready untill it actually got here. The longest wait for me was when it got unloaded at the roper utah rail yard. It took a week from Mexico to roper and then sat there for a little over 2 weeks. Total time I think was about 3 weeks and 3 days.

Where did you get teh RAM request a brochure one? I got a brochure but not a $1000 cash offer.

Also what is teh on the job allowance?

I'm at $3000 my self.

Total of $1500 from True car.
$500 military from FCA
$500 military from true car
$500 from Ram incentives.
RAM is squirrelly with the "request a brochure" customer cash. To be clear, my fingers are crossed waiting for some, but it has worked for me before (and sporadically for others on here, too).

The "On The Job" allowance is money given for putting the truck in your business's name.

Thanks. I went back thru my emails but cant find the one from Ram. So that one I guess is lost.
I dont have a business so cant use that one.
But I am considered a first responder by the city when it came to priorty for the Covid vaccine because of the work my employer does. Not sure if that will work for the incentive though .

I'm getting fairly excited by these quick ship dates for people that ordered a few weeks before me. I wouldn't mind a road trip in June instead of July-August like I expected.

Well here’s another quick one. Was able to pull up my build sheet this morning! Just under three weeks since placing order.

75th Anniversary Power Wagon with Safety, Towing Tech, Dual Alternators, VSIM, and LED bed lighting

4/30 - Order placed, VON issued
5/3 - Received VIN from dealer
5/15 - RamChat stated truck in framing
5/19 - Build sheet available this morning

Not bad, but youve got about another month to go, sadly.

Once you get a window sticker, the truck is built and ready to ship.

Yep. I’ll take it though. Have a trip in August, so was just hoping by late July.

He did mention quick ship dates, which mine hasn’t actually shipped, as you mentioned.

Received my truck yesterday. (details in signature)

I'll update with some photos when I get around to taking them. Oddly enough, I took none at the dealership, and was more concerned with getting home than stopping along the way to snag any. 2AM garage shots don't really do it any justice either.

Long story short, Phillip and the rest of the staff at Bud Clary were great. Paid exactly what we agreed upon. No games, no upsells, no finance issues, etc. AND, I was in and out of the place in maybe an hour or so? Can't complain about that at all. They even had someone grab me from the airport, which was great.

The only gripe, and I'd like to make it clear this isn't necessarily _their_ issue, is the out of state registration process. They are mailing all the docs to my local DMV, as you'd expect, but I only have a 3 day travel plate right now so I'm a bit concerned with the timing of everything. Thankfully I do have a second vehicle, and I work from home so I should be good assuming it isn't some kind of massive time lapse. And, I may be counting my chickens before my eggs, as the paperwork may arrive today and I'll be at the DMV tomorrow -- which sounds kind of unlikely, but we'll see. Anyways, I could see this being a problem for some so I thought I'd share. And again, this would probably be my only "complaint" of the whole experience, and it's more of a process issue than something I would pin on the dealership.

If anyone has any specific questions about the whole thing, let me know. I don't really know what else to talk about, as it really was the most standard and painless car purchasing process possible. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone.

Update 5/17 Truck is in North Platte, Nebraska.

Excited to hear it is state side. If it comes in next week, I'll be right at 8 weeks (ordered 3/24)!

So when you get an estimated ship date, does that mean the date it is supposed to leave the factory? Then figure it will probably take a few weeks or so to get to the dealership?
