So Ram Chat says my truck is out getting the accessories I ordered installed, no ETA on delivery. Dealer says ETA is Thursday. So whos correct???
Also found out that the Bed cover is not on the build sheet and RAM chat said if its not on the build sheet, then its not ordered. So my dealer might have dropped the ball on that one. I can always order one so no deal breaker.

In my experience, RAM Chat was very accurate up through when it was actually shipped. Then they couldn't tell me anything other than a 2 week window of a dealership ETA. From there, the dealer could tell me exactly where the truck was, in the country.
If I were you, I'd have zero expectations of seeing your truck on Thursday. Even if it was 100% complete, which it doesn't sound like it is, there is no way it's getting from Mexico to wherever you are in ~3 days. I'd even go as far as if the truck was 100% complete, shipped, and had made it across the border in Texas, there is next to no chance you'd see it on Thursday.
Again, in my experience (and in that thread I shared with you), your window sticker becoming available is pretty indicative of the truck having been shipped. And RAM Chat will definitely be able to tell you when it ships, and what their ETA is.

Yea, I'm not expecting it thursday.
Dealer originally told me it was going to ship on the 12th. Got ahold of ram chat on the 12th and it was going into pain.
I'm about 50 miles north of Los Angles on the coast.

If you dont have a window sticker, it's still in Mexico has not finished being built yet.
Once you get a window sticker, you can assume it is built, has passed inspection, and is getting ready to ship, but likely hasnt shipped yet.

First time I have ordered a vehicle built to my specs. It is definitely a test of patience, haha. Ordered from Dave Smith in Idaho. I am hoping for a late June delivery.
4/16: Ordered 21 PW
5/4: D1 status update from dealer, VIN from Ram Chat

Was it converted to a 2022 as you wondered earlier?
No, it's a 2021...for now.
Once you have a VIN though, I was under the impression that meant the order was accepted and will be built as ordered, Is that correct or not?

That would be awesome! If it does come with Uconnect 5 that would at least soften the blow of the crazy wait

I think that's just a generic answer in the FAQ,. Not meant that some 2021s Rams may have UConnect 5.
