Just picked up my 21 Laramie last night and want to put a screen protector on it. I have the 8.4 screen and I can't find an answer to what fits for sure .. There's a ton of reviews for the 12" screens, but a ton of conflicting info on the 8.4 due to the different styles of screens (sunk in 2500 and 3500) and flush (1500s) also appears that there's is a difference in the surrounds between the 19s and 19.5s up ?? Looking for people that actually have put one on a 2020 up model 2500 that can give me their outlook on a high quality unit that fits nice and gives great protection.. Thanks in advance !!

I used this one on my 20 2500. It went on very clean and I don't notice any difference in look or function of the screen. If you wear polarized sun glasses you may notice some hazing/coloring of the screen like when you look at tinted windows, but that's about it. I also didn't use the included alcohol sheet and opted for windex instead, after reading some of the reviews. Had it on for about 9 months now and still looks great. Currently at $11, can't beat that.

Does it go pretty much up to the edges ? Or does it leave a pretty large gap ?

It doesn't go all the way to the edge but the gap is not large, and certainly isn't noticeable when you're driving. I'll see if I can grab a pic for you.

I went with this one that another member posted. Went on great, no gaps to speak of and functionality is great.

I went with this one. the owner is active in the fb groups. great piece of kit.

Here is the LFOTPP coverage. Not perfect but not bad. I don't notice it at all. Others have liked the KYKR brand. Lots of choices.
