Forgive me if it’s already been mentioned but I was told to apply to Tread Lightly for a discount on the price of my new order build. I’ve paid the membership fee and am awaiting the “member letter”, which I was told I would need at the time of signing if they were going to apply the discount.

Would anyone be able to provide some insight on this? I thank you in advance...

That is correct, and I have done this twice. I think it takes a month or so to get the membership code. You will receive a certificate that guarantees 1% below dealer invoice price, plus any incentives going on that month. These days, I doubt there are any. Bring that in during signing and they have to honor it.

For this time, when I ordered mine, I appealed to them not forcing me to spend the time and money on this again and just give me the price. The invoice price for me was about 7.5% below MSRP. So, you are looking in the range of 8.5% MRSP (not exactly but close) with the discount code. I was able to squeeze out another 1% or so for about 9-10% below MSRP plus whatever incentives there are when the truck arrives.

Well first of all if you were sent the ram bonus cash during the time you ordered then it should be locked to your vin and not actually expire. I did this with my first $750 bonus cash and was confirmed by dealer sales manager and ram incentives department manager that it would not go away even after expiring . Then later i got a $1000 bonus cash email and told my dealer to take the original $750 off and attach the $1000 one incase my truck didnt get delivered in time. So you should check on that first of all. As far as the truecar code when i took it in to make the deal (6 days before it and my bonus cash expired ) i gave it to the sales manager and it was already in his computer under qualifying incentives. If you have a good dealer they wont give you any problems with either one but call them and ram incentives department and ask for supervisor and try to get your bonus cash back.

Ramtrucks.com click on shopping tools at the top left and then sign up for updates in the middle of that page. Click on what models your interested in and you plan to purchase in a month and then add your contact info. Some people get responses fast and others dont at all. I used a few email addresses and got at least two different bonus cash codes .

I signed up on true car when I was looking for a truck. I first got a $500 cert. Then later got a $1000 one. I sent the $1000 one to my salesman and also told him I had a $500 one. He said we should be able to use them.

I am confused because I see some people say to wait to request a coupon until it is closer to the time of delivery so it won't expire but then others say the dealer can lock it in anytime while you are waiting for delivery. I guess the two main ones I am thinking of is the $500 truecar and one that may get mailed or emailed to you from Ram. So is it best to wait until you are about a month out from delivery, or just do it now?

Im in ontario as well. Ordered Feb 2. Just got my Estimated ship date on Monday. So i think your almost to that stage.
I have not found any email incentives. I was lucky to get Chrysler Advantage Plan through my employer. I think it saved me about 11,000 in addition to the 5000 FCA incentive at time of ordering.

Should have mentioned my ESD is May 27th, so a bit away still. Guessing mid June before delivery?

Also in Ontario, ordered February 26th, been pushing hard on the dealer, estimated ship date is apparently May 15th. We will see if that sticks.

Sorry for the delay in posting, but I did pick mine up at the dealer this past Saturday. Drove it the 200 miles home and extremely happy with it thus far!! Really happy with my selections!!!

You probably have one for true car @$500 and one that is bonus cash from ram for $1000 and they are combinable but true car doesn't do more then $500 ever so you might want to look at them a little closer.
