Switch ordered. Let the games begin.
Mine is sitting in the shop with a whole pile of parts, waiting for some free time.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a pile going too. LOLMine is sitting in the shop with a whole pile of parts, waiting for some free time.
My electrical pile keeps growing.
Trailer camera wiring
Fuse panel (to upfitter jumper power leads)
Backup LED lights and relay circuits to build
My list keeps growing. I have yet to hook up anything to my AUX switches. What do you intend to use the fuse panel for?

Thanks for the post:You literally just remove and replace the switch cluster. Once you pull it unplug old switch cluster and plug in new switch cluster with the hill descent. The cluster it self only has 4 screws. I have the 12" screen I just took out the 2 screws at the top then pulled the radio forward everything else holding the radio in is clips.
Thanks for the post:
I still have my bypass cable after installing the TTPMS on my 2019 Ram 2500. My question is why do you need to pull the radio forward.
Second question is has anyone confirmed that the hill descent control works with just the Uconnect button
Thanks
Good to know. I enabled the function via alfaobd. Still waiting for it to show up on U connectYes, you have to pull the radio to pull the bezel around the panel to access the 4 bolts.

Ok, I just thought there would be a way to enable or disable. But that doesn't make much sense if there is a dedicated buttonI don't think it shows up in Uconnect, mine never did, but I've not had the time to get to a hill steep enough to finish testing it.
I really do not believe there is a requirement for a particular angle. Are you able to engage on a flat surface in 4-low and use the gear shift buttons to raise or lower your speed in small increments?

Yo Rocky, I am not tech savvy and don't know how move posts around in here but, go to the "What have you done to your Ram today" thread page 88 post #1749. He has it with a stick shifter.Anybody know if you can add the button to manual transfer case trucks? I don’t know where the button would be because I don’t have the 4x4 button panel.
for those of you wondering about how the parameters / setting the function works.

The part number for that one pictured (shifter with only HDC) is 68378095AD![]()
What did you do TO your RAM today?
I added the front and it changed the way it articulates. It's a torsion style and acts like a big shock per se, truck goes over obstacles so much better.hdrams.com

If you can find a truck with stick and Hill descent and get the VIN, the part number can be found (or ask @SkywalkerPhD to help)
Please post the part number when you find it and I will add it the the sticky that includes the others (diesel and 8-speed with switches)
It says Video unavailable because it is private. Here is the video of HDC working and how to operate. "I know I say gauge cluster but meant Transfer case cluster"
