Since no one makes a dedicated snow tire in a real size.. I've been looking at the best 3PMSF (3 Peak Mountain & Snowflake Rated) All Terrain (35") options for in the winter.

I think I've narrowed it down to :
Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT (most siping, potentially least effective tread pattern)
Yokohama Geolandar AT G015 (moderate siping, mildly aggressive tread pattern)
Falken Wildpeak A/T3W (moderate siping, most aggresive tread pattern)

I have run several Coopers in the past and been happy with them all, but i'm always open to trying something new.

Where i live it snows quite a bit (dry snow) and temperatures can be anywhere from -10 to -40 Celsius. The roads can get pretty slick and icy when it gets real cold. I did look into running studs, but a 35", 3PMSF, studdable tire is a unicorn.

Looking to get some feedback on the tires listed above if you have experience with them. I will only be running these during the winter and will be back onto my Cooper STT Pro's for the nicer months.

I like my Wildpeaks, I was caught between them and the Coopers. I liked the look of the cooper sidewall a lot more, but the wildpeak seemed like a better tread pattern, and the deal i got on amazon was unbeatable. $232 per tire free shipping for 285/75/R18's. I gotta say I'm glad i got them, they have been fantastic tires, they're extremely quiet, handle nice, tow nice, and we had a really rough winter in NJ this year, and I was plowing with them didn't have any issues, even when i was pushing 24" + snow after the blizzard.

I ran the Falkens on my 4th gen in a 37x12 flavor and had no issues, however our winters don't get near as cold and our snow is heavy, wet and icy. They served me well throughout our winters and I had no issues with them as far as traction goes.

I opted not to go with them again on the 4.5 gen, mainly due to the sidewall flex, as I don't have dedicated winter/summer tires and need whatever I put on to perform well all year.

I have had cooper at3's and Falken at3w and the Falken is hard to beat. I have also had a pair of Toyo AT3 which you would be remiss if you don't look into those. I live in Montana where we get some winter......

I looked into the Toyo AT3, as it is winter rated. I read a pile of reviews, there were some pretty unfavorable reviews hidden inbetween all the Toyo fan-boy reviews. It seemed people loved or hated them, not much inbetween. My previous experience with Toyo's was pretty poor as well, to the point of me taking the tires off and selling them. When i think of Toyo's i think of a great tire if you want something to last 100,00 KM, not necessarily performance.

I ran yoko geolanders for 20k miles. was a great tire, except further off the paved road in deeper snow. I had the opportunity to review the toyo atIII's. certainly not a fanboi, but they really outshined the yokos. great wear, smooth ride, minimal noise. just finished up a 2k mile road trip and they performed great.

I ran the Wildpeak on my 5th gen 1500 in a 34" tire. Loved them and were quiet on the road.

Duratrac is also a 3 peak tire and I run them in a 35" on my power wagon. I probably would have gone with the Wildpeak over them, but I got a good deal on the Duratracs.

Next tire will probably be a 37" KO2 which is also a 3 peak tire.

Uh don’t you live in the desert? Lol.

I had Toyo AT3's, Discoverer AT2's and ended up with Hankook Dynapro ATM's on my 2nd gen. The Hankook was a very nice tire in all conditions and I would get them again. We do get some snow here in NY.

Goodyear Duratracs have been great as dedicated snow/all-season tires for me. Wear is good on them but they do get noisy as they age.

With that said, I will be going with a set of Wildpeaks on my next truck.

Going with Nokian snow tires, assuming I get my truck before winter. Will be running Continental AT tires in the summer but I wanted a dedicated snow tire for winter.
