Crypto sent me a build sheet today! Not sure what stage the build is at but I’m hoping it at least started being built today…

Update, now have a build date for 5/7.

I’m reading about price increases on the Jeep boards. Have you all heard anything about a price increase on the Rams? Looking to order soon. I’ve been dragging my feet a bit.

I haven’t heard of any yet, but since ram seems to change almost every quarter, who knows. Too, much and it scares off buyers. Dealers holding to MSRP is pizz in me off now. Lowballing my trade to boot.

My daughter and I flew to Seattle yesterday and drove the 435 miles back home in the new 3500.
The pick up of the pickup could have been better, but in the end, Phillip Olson stuck to his word, and I got the deal that he promised.
Overall, I am very pleased with the truck, with few complaints.
The things that I don't like:
Headrests. Much too far forward.
Rotary shift knob. Seems weird, and out of place in a heavy duty truck.
Overly sensitive throttle, though I am sure that I will get used to it over time.
It doesn't get 40mpg. Lol

What I really do like:
Lots of power!
Nice smooth cruise control.
Very quiet inside!
The ride is firm enough to let me know that it's not a girly city truck, but is not what I would call rough.
The appearance. I think it is a great looking rig.

That last picture is it next to the old Dodge farm truck that will continue to be my firewood hauling rig.
Rotary Shift knob? Is this standard? Everything I have seen on my 2021 3500 Laramie Mega Cab, which I should be taking delivery of in the next 2 weeks, shows a traditional column shifter. Anyone else have column shifter vs rotary knob?

Rotary knob for gas engines, column shifter for diesels.

I was told on Friday when I ordered that a $2k increase was coming for the Power Wagon I was ordering and we needed to get it in by 4pm that day. I wondered whether it was a sales tactic and have been waiting to see how it plays out. They mentioned they found out when the glitch in the system showed a monster increase in Jeep Wrangler prices and they called to verify.

I Did you hear back? I emailed him Thursday for an update and haven't heard anything. It seems he's typically off Friday and love thank you for all that lol Saturday, so its kind of expected, but I'm wondering when to send a follow up.
Heard back today that truck is in Texas and on its way here so that’s good news. As far as the steps they are looking into if it’s possible for them to add oem power steps or not and if not then most likely AMP power steps. To me it doesn’t matter which ones.

Can’t believe your order is beating mine by weeks! Good for you.

Definitely moving faster than I expected after reading a lot of other posts. I know not having any factory added options that required going to the third party installer probably helped cut down some wait time.

3500 HO Laramie SRW CCSB Fully Loaded
Ordered 1/11. 16 weeks
Vin 2/25
Currently, it is still sitting at a 3rd party vendor. Been there for 8 weeks. WTF??

I was told the same shipping window. I guess our trucks might be on the same rail car. However, mine is headed over to Aaron at Mark Dodge.

Sounds like you are buying from the wrong dealer ! not only did my dealer give me the price he quoted me on jan 10th but gave me the trade number he quoted me 3.5 months ago , which was $1700 less than i bought the truck for last year. So where i am at dealers are still selling for 12-13% below msrp and giving above nada or kbb for trade.

Per conversation yesterday morning, mine is scheduled to arrive at railyard in Lawrenceville, GA this morning at 10:32. Hoping that this translates to being ready for pickup at the dealer in Charleston, SC on Friday. Based on the delivery date (Friday), it will be 13 weeks from order date of 2/5. Sooooo Close!!

Probably more for end of month sales bonus, more than anything else. Some incentives went away April 30th.
