2021 Ram HD Builds and orders - Post and discuss your order here!

My daughter and I flew to Seattle yesterday and drove the 435 miles back home in the new 3500.
The pick up of the pickup could have been better, but in the end, Phillip Olson stuck to his word, and I got the deal that he promised.
Overall, I am very pleased with the truck, with few complaints.
The things that I don't like:
Headrests. Much too far forward.
Rotary shift knob. Seems weird, and out of place in a heavy duty truck.
Overly sensitive throttle, though I am sure that I will get used to it over time.
It doesn't get 40mpg. Lol

What I really do like:
Lots of power!
Nice smooth cruise control.
Very quiet inside!
The ride is firm enough to let me know that it's not a girly city truck, but is not what I would call rough.
The appearance. I think it is a great looking rig.

That last picture is it next to the old Dodge farm truck that will continue to be my firewood hauling rig.

My truck is at the rail yard 2 blocks from the dealer and has been unloaded from the rail car. This is going to be the longest week ever. I fly out on Thur

What issues did you have on pick up? My truck should be to Bud Clary any day now.

What's the skinny on the Laramie wheels?

My deal included me purchasing an extra set of take off tires and wheels from a Laramie. We had basically taken care of all of the paperwork by snail mail, and all I needed to do was get my copies when I picked up the truck. I had told them that due to my flight time, I would be there at 8:00am. I was assured that someone would meet me at the dealership, so that I could get on the road for the long drive home, and because my daughter who was with me, would have been up for about 20 hours at that point, having worked a 10 hour night shift just before getting on the plane.
A salesman did meet me at the dealership a little after 8:00, but he didn't have my trip permit or my copies of the paperwork, and couldn't get them until after 9:00. Then I found out that the extra wheels and tires were at a tire shop 8 miles away!
I ended up driving to the tire shop myself, and getting the tires, rather than wait even longer for the salesman to do it.
BTW, the dealership had received my truck over 2 weeks prior to this, and should have had plenty of time to get all this taken care of long before I got there.

One more thing.
I was second guessing my decision to go with the 3.73 gears after reading some of the other threads on here about it. However, after driving it for a bit, I am really glad that I did not opt for the 4.10's. To me, and for the way I will be using it most of the time, I think it is perfectly geared.

Window sticker found by crypto stickers. Everything looks good to me, when the window sticker is available does that mean the truck is now built?

Congrats! Mine hasn't showed up yet on crypto. What has Phil said for your ship date?

Please expand on this... plenty of us hoping for a smooth, drama free pick up at the dealer.

They did.

Sounded like he had to wait around an extra hour for some paperwork, and pick up some tires from a shop 8 miles away.

Annoying but fairly insignificant.

Crap i missed that part (i see it now)..... my bad. And i agree, pretty insignificant.
Nothing about the price though? The quoted price was honored?

Haven’t heard an update on shipping since I stopped by the dealer last Sunday but then it showed something like 4/28 I think he said. I just text phil to confirm if they can add the power steps or not as from what other members have said that it entails extra wiring and harnesses.

2021 3500 Limited SB CC SRW HO NE P.Blue 5th TTPMS Air Susp everything else.

Ordered 02/10/21 from Gandrud GB WI --> Matt --> excellent communication

4/26/21 @ Dealership = 10.5 weeks

First post of pics...

Question about rearview mirror, how is the comparison?

Pictures of both included here:

Normal mirror function - looks just like what you would expect.

I wear bi-focal glasses: Lower lens = dashboard is in focus --- Upper lens = distance is in focus __AND__ normal mirror is in focus.

Camera version of rearview mirror: computer screen image --- Upper lens = everything in mirror is out of focus, have to look at mirror thru lower lens - NO
Camera version of rearview mirror = DOESN'T WORK FOR ME! Will never be able to use camera version....o_O

Good ride with 65 psi front and 55 psi back = 300 mile ride back from GB with it... Lots of buttons, menu items, settings in 12" display...

Wife is happy too with her new truck!;) Fits in 83" clearance garage with 2-3" to spare...

Thank you everyone for helpful discussions, hints, information and making the wait tolerable! Keep up the good work!:)

Did you hear back? I emailed him Thursday for an update and haven't heard anything. It seems he's typically off Friday and Saturday, so its kind of expected, but I'm wondering when to send a follow up.
