What did you do TO your RAM today?

My weather tech HP mats seem great. Fairly soft and hard enough to maintain a good luck. The fit is perfect. Did you guys all have the WT HPs? Or the standard laser cuts?

I was looking at my Weather Tech liners today and they are much less plastic feeling than those in my Jeep and the ones I had in my 2007,

Yeah I believe the HP mats were created because they knew the hard plastic ones kinda suck after a while. They are a stiff rubber

Just picked it back up. Hitch installed and ready to roll.

Does anyone else with the B&W flip their hitch and drop it back in (ball pointing to the ground)? I was told that isn't smart since it could interfere with the brake lines running very close by.
I just installed the same setup in my RAM 2500 last weekend. Great piece of equipment. I also bought the Companion Slider 5th wheel hitch for mine too. Great combination.
You should check under your truck to see if there is a strut right below the turnover ball. If yours has a strut in place you do not want to run with the ball stored as the upside down stored ball could possibly hit the strut when you have a load and cause damage. I do not believe you will have any issues with any brake lines. I do not have the strut and there are no issues with any brake line on mine.
One thing you should check is the wiring in the driver's side rear wheel well next to the turnover ball release. It is tight. I moved mine to ensure clearance.

For anyone that wants an awesome setup, the B&W turnover ball and Companion Slider are the way to go. It was an easy install too.

Got a nice size rock hit to the windshield two days ago, Ironically the same day my salesman tells me my new truck is in...... Fortunately the vehicle sold to another dealership for amazing money (the market is crazy for used vehicles. Sold my ‘19 for 1K under what I paid for the ‘21)and no questions asked about the windshield. Picked up the new one today!

Whoa!... I first thought that rock into the wind shield happened to your new one.

What do you have for tires on there?

So I've been thinking of doing the same thing. If you don't mind me asking. Dont you lose out on all the taxes you paid? I know it varies by state. For instance though I paid almost 3700$ in taxes and if I sell this and buy another I'd have to pay the same 3700 or more in taxes AGAIN. Right? Or is there some kind of loophole or work around?

Here in Washington, you only pay sales tax on the net price after trade in.

20k new vehicle minus 10 k for trade in, you pay tax on the remaining 10k

In Georgia you pay the difference in taxes between the trade and the new truck. If you trade a 40k truck in on a 60k truck you pay taxes only on the 20k because you already paid tax on the 40k
