I put some 20" method NV's and 35x12.50 20 Ridge graps on my Ram. I noticed a vibration around 51-61mph. As I exceed those speeds it seems to go away.
I spend most of my time on the highway running 80+ or around town going well under 50mph. I have had discount rebalance once, and it did not resolve it.

I have been traveling alot and have not carved out time to go back up there, as I was able to drive around the vibration for the most part. However it has been wearing on me, so today I swapped the stock tires and wheels back on.
Sure enough nice and smooth. I wanted to be sure that the truck did not have a slight vibration before that that had gone undetected. Discount is ordering new tires for me in hopes to resolve this. I have only had the truck for 4 months. Tires and wheels went on about 1.5 months in.

Here's hoping this takes care of it. They also said they would road force balance them - which I am not sure why they did not do that after the initial vibration complaint.

It has never been a struggle for me. I have had 33, 35, and 37" tires on every vehicle I have owned over the last 25 years. The extremely aggressive tires I have on my Rubicon(37" STT Pro) and TJ (35" MTR) are smooth compared to my Ram.
Hopefully they get it right this next time. Its inconvenient to keep going back to the tire shop.

Have you thought about adding hub-centric rings ? I did that on my fuel wheels because the factory wheels fit the inner hub but my fuel wheels had a larger center bore . I have zero vibration from 0 to 80 mph. I think they were like $130 for a set of 4 but we'll worth it to me. This way you are not centering the wheel with the lug nuts.

I have not thought of those...any links or suggestions? Cat hurt at that price.

Make sure they removed the little star washers on the lug nuts. Those are used to hold the rotors on during assembly at the factory. Factory wheels are machined on the back so they don't interfere. Aftermarket wheels don't have the machining and the wheel will not sit completely flush. I had this issue once. It was only slightly noticeable at certain speeds. It got much more noticeable once the lugnuts started loosening because of it!

Thanks for the idea brew bud. Those were removed at the time of install. Double checked when I swapped back to stock earlier this week.

The place I got the hub centric aluminum rings was justforwheels.com
Just find out what your wheel hub is and your factory hub is and tell them so you get the correct ones. I think mine were 121.3 x 130.2 but can't find my notes to verify that. If you look at the wheel manufacturer's web site under wheel specs it will tell you without having to take your wheels off and measure with calipers.

I have Fuel Rebel wheels on my truck and there was some vibration on the highway. I installed hub centric rings in them and the vibes went away. She's smooth now.

A truck with large tires will never be as smooth as a car, but my truck is now pretty darn close.

Update: Discount threw on a new set of ridge graps, and they feel a bit smoother, but there is a vibration still.
Method says that with their wheels and a hub centric ring I cant run center caps...which I want them on there. They also said while they aren't always perfect more often than not the vibrations come from tires.
This is frustrating going back and forth on this. I may just ask for a refund and toss 35's on the factory wheels.
I wish discount would mount the tires on my OEM wheels to see if in fact the vibrations go away.

So, contacted discount and they are encouraging me to pick different wheels. They said they work with a local truck shop who only uses Fuels because they include hub centric rings with their wheels...and they rarely hear of problems.
Never knew that , but yah...
I then called CJC to pick their brains. They said they sell TONS of method wheels like 10 to 1 over fuels and rarely hear of issues. They encouraged me to drop the PSI waaaaaaaay down and see how it drove. They suggest 50psi F and 40 psi R. I did that, and the truck seems much smoother. I am going to drive some of the roads where I felt the vibe the worst and then see. I have driven it all weekend but only highway speeds where the vibe didnt exist.

FWIW the Psi was @ 65 all around previously. Discount set it at that, and I never adjusted during sledding season as I was hooking to trailers frequently enough to not lower it

Discount set my tires to 67 psi. The max pressure for the tires is only 50psi.

Yes, I 've noticed they commonly crank the PSI. the max PSI for my tires is 80 psi - so not over inflated but rides a ton better now and seems tolerable vibration wise.

Fuel does not include the hub centric rings with there wheels , I have bought three sets of them and none of them come with them but I purchased my own and it made all the difference in the world and I've never heard of anybody having problems with fuel wheels so I'm not sure on that.

You must be running 8 ply then because I have 12 ply toyo's and I run the at 65 front and 55 rear. They ride better then my stock tires by far.

Last time I had Discount mount a set on my 4th gen they did the same thing. The tech said it is because they have to go by what is on the door.

When I had my current set mounted I put a yellow sticky note on the door and wrote 45PSI, which prompted them to come talk to me.
