Handgun mount to drivers seat

I usually have two, no problems and they are never left alone in the vehicle. If for some reason that were to be required, it would be in a vault. Sorry, but I am a firm believer in always on person. Truck mount, to me, would be for comfort while traveling and quicker access when in vehicle. That’s only my $.02 worth. To each his own.

Or don't be an idiot and know your environment and situation and adjust accordingly. I travel and train so much it would be impossible to not leave guns in the vehicle.

Safe queens and mall crawlers.

I am by no means an idiot, although I have done some idiotic things in my life! LOL! I gave my personal thoughts on stowage of weapons. Travel may well require one to leave weapons in vehicle(like boarding a plane to ny or chiraq )hence the vault. I wouldn’t leave my wallet in my vehicle either as I believe that is asking for trouble. I would never put myself in a bad situation on purpose but stuff happens. Last thing I want to do is have to use my weapon. All the training in the world doesn’t necessarily mean no mistakes are going to be made. We are seeing this from trained professionals as we speak. As in a previous post, I like your truck mount.

I used to keep a small Beretta in my truck 24/7. I lived in a very rural part of south Texas and I kept it hidden inside the vehicle. One day I came out of a store and my door was slightly open. Thieves had managed to pop the door open and stole that gun along with an IPod and some of my tools. Since then I never leave one in my vehicle. I miss that Beretta btw......

Bozo, that last statement was not meant to be directed at you specifically. Poor choice of words on my part when quoting you.
