Yeah, the are used for the racks and tool boxes. The come with the bed utility group.
I believe the box has the indents for were to drill, the 1500 has the holes.

Is this only on the short bed trucks? I have a CC LB and the bed utility group. Those rails were not listed as part of the package and I do not have them in my bed.Yeah, the are used for the racks and tool boxes. The come with the bed utility group.

I do not know this answer for sure. I will see what I can find. They have them for both so if they come with one they should come with the other.
According to the feature guide, they are not part of the bed utility group on the HD. So the dealer or owner must have added them.

I will have to check the 1500 guide...but I do not know why they wouldn't be included...but they are expensive...so
